It is always hard to say farewell to a loved one, even when you know it is coming. At 98 years old, and in rapidly declining health, we knew it was only a matter of time before Mum passed away. We decided to use Affordable Cremations because Mum had outlived all her friends and she always said she didn't want an expensive funeral.Stephanie at Affordable Cremations made everything so easy for us. There was no hard sell' trying to get us to add extras. What was offered was exactly that: it was everything that was offered.We will have a special celebration of Mum's life on her 99th birthday in June. The money we saved on an expensive funeral we will use to have the whole family go to Mum's favourite beach on the south coast of New South Wales

Stephanie made this part of our grief seamless. On two occasions now AC have been the perfect choice. Kind & gentle is the best way I can describe our interactions. My Dad didn’t want any “fuss” so I chose cremation & we privately scattered the ashes at a favourite spot. We collected some shells & sand from that spot & I made a memorial pyramid which is a nice tangible reminder of my beloved Dad. Thank you Stephanie for assisting us to do it our way xx
