K&K Marble Stonemasons

27 June 2015 - We had the best experience with K & K Marble. We bought a stone toped vanity on the web and it was awful. We called K & K Marble at 10.30 am on Saturday morning and asked whether he could supply a new vanity stone top by COB on the same day. Keith at K & K Marble said he could accommodate our request. We arrived at 12pm and picked up the finish product at 2pm. The marble was beautiful and the workmanship excellent. This type of customer service is so unusual and it was lovely to see that there are businesses that still go above and beyond. We must also say that the price of the marble top was extremely reasonable. We highly recommend K & K Marble.

I found K & K Marble Stonemasons to be wonderful. They were very professional, took great pride in their work and did a high quality job, cleaning up well afterwards. They were also helpful in providing advice on how to care for our white marble fireplace long term. Ours was a difficult job due to the fireplace being damaged during the building process and having to be repaired but they were always friendly and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others. If only our builder was as good...

We accidentally broke a clients marble fireplace and Keith was all over it ASAP with service and punctuality and all very reasonably priced in my opinion. Highly recommend. Keith also installed my marble fire hearth many years ago so I’m a repeat client.

If you're looking for marble or composite quartz stone & are a bit baffled as to which stone supplier to go with look no further than K&K Marble - they are experienced stonemasons and truly fit the bill of being artisans of their craft. I had read so many kitchen renovation blogs & stories about stonemasons linked to kitchen renovation companies getting measurements wrong and turning up with gaps or faults in the stone - leaving their customers waiting for days or weeks for the proper fit out to be completed. So I was very wary of avoiding mistakes and delays. Also, I wanted to see a slab of stone and not go off a tiny sample as the stone background colour varies with different stone batches. So when I found Keith & Kiri's factory in Richmond I could not have been more pleased with the service. Nothing was too much trouble. Even more brilliant the stone arrived a few days after a new kitchen went in. And the people that have run the company for 25+ years come & install your beautiful stone benchtops - not indifferent tradies who are learning the craft as they go. I rarely get a chance to say this, but I loved dealing with Keith, James & Kiri. A job well done.

Met with Keith from K&K Marble on-site for a quote. Advised Keith about a week after receiving his quote that I would like to proceed. Arranged a time for Keith to come out for a final check measure as the design had changed slightly. My wife and I took time off work so that we could meet Keith to go over the final design together. Keith failed to show and did not respond to a text message sent on the day of the appointment to confirm if he was still coming after his appointment time had passed. This was on a Friday. Let it go over that weekend. Called his mobile on the Monday and left a message. No return phone call. Called his office line on the Tuesday and left a message. No return call. I subsequently had to restart the process of finding another stone mason as it was evident that Keith had no intention of following through on the job and was unreliable. Be mindful of this experience if you get K&K to quote.
