Hughes Park
Great park for kids with benches and bbqs too.Not sure why everyone is complaining about access when there is a convenient and safe foot path and ramp directly into the park from Waterview Drive without having to walk on the road. There is NO need to walk down the long steps or the steep road!

Like the variety of playing equipment for both older and younger children but the park needs more shades, particularly with the big metal slide. The train has been rained on so mouldy spots are everywhere...

Hughes Park
A great park with a great playground for the kids, an outdoor exercise area, seating and barbeque areas for the adults. There is also a community garden. Next to the Waterview centre it is a serene place to hang out. There is limited parking but what a view.

Beautiful park. The under 2s section is very cute and plenty to play as well as shaded. There is another larger area for older kids to climb, merry go round thing, taller slides. This area is a a lacking in shade however.Plenty of facilities nearby such as public bathroom with disabled access and change table. There are also some exercise equipment and bbq.

Superb park. I've been to this park on a number of occasions; BBQ, Live Music, a Native Bee Course in the Community Garden. The BBQ plates are hot so food cooks evenly and quickly. On my most recent journey I found a shortcut through to Lane Cove River (via unit block 300c). Parking is very limited. Family friendly, wheelchair accessible.

Hughes Park
It’s a nice park but it’s surrounded on three sides by low income housing inhabited by cranky old low lives whose only pleasure in life is harassing visitors. I guess they think the park is a private facility for their decrepit houso complex? The foul language and regular threats of violence against visitors makes this facility unsuitable for children.

Nice. Big kids and small kids equipment. Not a lot of parking spaces.
