The Cafe is located behind the busy main street but nice and quiet with breeze from the harbour. The food is yummy but not overdone especially the Chicken wings. The waiter is very polite and willing to cater for my special need. It is very much appreciated.

Lovely cafe, in a beautiful spot. Food was great, well priced and staff was very friendly. Find a nice bit of sun outside and enjoy! Thanks for having us.

I was misled with the online average ratings, perhaps since the restaurant recently came under new maangement? Every item ordered was below average. The pizza I had was rock hard and I got a workout just trying to cut through it. I should have known better when I went inside the restaurant and it was empty. The one table that was there gave me a look when I entered which I now believe to be a look of get out while you still can! My partner also noticed when their dishes were collected that they each had eaten only one slice each of their pizzas... The arincini was bland and the gnocchi lacked flavor. To give a positive, the waiter was friendly.

Nice enough food however it took over an hour from when we placed our order to be served our food. If it was busy I could understand however it wasn't, the cafe was roughly a third capacity. Maybe they have staffing issues? Hard to tell TBH. In any case, it's good enough if you're not in a hurry and want a cheaper option than what's on offer down at Salamanca.

We had a lovely breakfast on the sunny deck at Hearth. Good value, friendly staff and great coffee. It's on a quiet street just around the corner from the busy Salamanca restaurant strip. Definitely worth a visit.

We stopped for breakfast on our last day in Hobart. The staff were so friendly! A little bit pricey for what we received in terms of portion sizes and ingredients, but regardless enjoyable. Thank you!

Really great coffee and sourdough brekkie was lovely too. Maybe a little bit more smoked salmon in the serving though please? Beautiful setting sitting on the verandah in the sunshine too. Worth the detour up the hill away from the Salamanca hordes
