Kangarutha Farm

Spacious, private, flat camp sites on a gorgeous family run property. Clean toilet block with drinking water available. Really short drive to town & beach.Best things are it is dog friendly year-round, fires are permitted, dams to swim in/SUP on, gorgeous kangaroos everywhere, mountain biking was really fun nearby (can cycle straight from the property, or flowy trails at Mandeni), can walk on the beautiful property and into neighbouring Bournda national park. The beaches are outstanding and and natural environment sublime!

Large private grassy campsites with no other campers in sight. Lots of bush to explore and very clean toilets. Highly recommended

Kangarutha Farm was a wonderful place to stay. We were allocated our own paddock surrounded by bush and serenity. Kangaroos regularly hopped through the paddock. The hosts were fabulous, facilities included toilets, a sculpture walk, bike track in to town and mountain bike tracks on the door step. Two minute drive and you were in down town Tathra (or take a 10 minute or so bike ride). Tathra was such a beautiful place we had such a wonderful time swimming at Nelsons Lagoon and Kianinny boat ramp where we were able to feed thanks to local fisherman stingrays an experience we will never forget. Local oysters and the Tathra pub has amazing views with a great kids play ground just around the corner. Now one of our favourite places to stay.
