Has everything you want pub/food/keno.Food was amazing. My Ribeye steak was amazing. Service amazing. 4.99 stars and not 5 because it could do with a revamp.

Friend from Brisbane recommended the Barron Valley Hotel. I wasn’t disappointed.Mick Nasser, the publican and his wife Maree are gracious hosts.I got a bit of a tour of the pub and it’s history and how it’s now become a central point for the community.Best of all - No Pokies.The Nasser family provide all there own steak to the kitchen. Proper paddock to plate. Mick’s son has the cattle on his land, the abattoir takes the best cuts for the hotel. The beef served to you is top quality and you won’t experience better in the Tablelands.Highly recommend this pub.Has an authentic old school pub feel. Something missing in a lot of the chain pubs that you see these days.

Lovely old building with history, rooms are simple, clean & functional, the food is exceptional. Only downfall would be the backpackers with their late night drinking & being noisy. Most staff are friendly & helpful.

Wonderful meals - 1kg Lumberjack steak and pork ribs pictured. Great value and so delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Great find on our travels. Will definitely be back :)

Steak was top shelf high quality beef and cooked to perfection! The barramundi was melt in your mouth! Such awesome food!

The staff were very friendly and service was great with no waiting. Meals were amazing!!!!! The kids meals were really nice and good size portions, the reef and beef was huge, 400g rib fillet felt more like 600g. We will definitely be coming back
