GSL Whitsundays

We had a great experience with the family. The 60 minute flight was one of the highlights at our trip and should not be missed. Everything was well organised and the views were breathtaking. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Had a trip over to Whitehaven yesterday with young Liam as the pilot - he is an absolute legend of a bloke and I cannot put words into this review enough to voice that.He made the experience for me 10/10 and I’d absolutely go again in a heart beat

What an amazingly beautiful experience!First of all the girl at the reception and the pickup driver were super friendly. The pilot was also super nice, very professional and welcoming!Flew over the islands and out to the reef!Incredible experience!!!It’s definitely worth the money cause this I’ll probably never forget in my life.Thanks a lot!

If you are a solo traveler, you might have a chance to sit next to the pilot! Amazing experience, worth for money, highly recommend to try in your life.I was mad at the end of the trip because I thought I missed heart reef. But actually I saw it but didn't expect it will be that small.Left and right both are giving you a good view. The pilot will turn around to not miss anything on this trip.

An hour after I landed into Proserpine I jumped onto a scenic tour with GSL Whitsundays. It was a cloudy day and I was worried about the visibility over the islands and reef but there was nothing to worry about. The trip was incredible, the view over the reef was absolutely breathtaking. At the end of my trip I had one spare day and I decided to jump on the panorama seaplane trip which was well worth the money spent as well! This flew over the Whitsunday islands before landing near Whitehaven beach for a fantastic three course lunch then we took off again and landed in the Great Barrier Reef for snorkelling. I was so happy with both of my trips and would recommend this to anyone staying in Airlie beach!

Don't book any tour with this company or Air Airlie Beach. I would give 0 star if I can.We originally booked the Seaplane Package during the Easter Holiday, which include taking the boat to Whitsunday Island and a sea plane trip from Whitsunday Island to Heart Reef. They cancelled this on the day 1 late afternoon when we arrive in Airlie Beach, which supposed to happen next day with whatever reason...blah, blah, blah. It left us no options but taking their suggestion to break into separate 2 days' tour, on our D3 for a flight to heart reef and D5 for a boat tour to Whitsunday Island.This messed up our plan for D2 in Airlie Beach because we couldn't find any tour in a such short time and we have to change the hotel and waste whole day. Our original plan was D2 check out early and went onto the seaplane tour. late afternoon when we returned. we can check in the 2nd hotel with no delay.We did take the scenic flight on D3, but this is not what we want the first place. Waste 2 hours on the road to and from the airport, this is why I chose seaplane in the first place.In the late afternoon of D4, GSL called me AGAIN to cancel the boat trip next day. When I revived the call, I was out of my word. I couldn't believe this happened in one of the tourism hot spot in Australia!! I requested the staff full refund of our original seaplane package, and the staff agreed and said will pass it onto accounting team. I then went to GSL office to have the confirmation the staff face to face. Then it took us 2 hours to find another day tour to Whitsunday Island for the next day because it was in holiday season, It is so hard to find anything not fully booked for next day.It took almost a month for them but only partial refund. I called their office but they refuse to fully refund as they commit originally. The office staff ask me to write them an email to the address on their website. I wrote them the email and followed up but didn't receive any response ever since.

It's been great tour to see Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef from bird eye view. Strongly recommend it as must-do tour in Whitsunday.The reception from GSL Aviation is very kind to offer a near-hotel pickup when it's not included in the package. Our driver Kellie explained the various sites and Sugarcane farms along way. Dave, our pilot handled the flight smoothly, particularly the take-off and the landing.

Great adventure! My partner booked a helicopter ride to Whitehaven with platter and wine. Only bad thing was we had to wait for another plane to land before going back to Airlie. Our driver not being his fault the plane was late went above and beyond to get us to the boat for last one back to Hamilton. Pilot was very friendly as well and easy to talk too.

Amazing company! Unlike many of the other companies, you go straight to Whitehaven, rather then stopping at daydream, hamilton, etc! It is such great value for money. The whole crew were so nice and accommodating!We did the Fly & Cruise - Heli Package and loved it! Next time we are keen to do the sea plane package. Thanks again!

Absolutely amazing little tour!! We travelled to Airlie mainly to see the reef and GSL offered some of the best scenic flights. Excellent value for money! Well maintained airplanes and a short drive from Airlie! It’s just one hour that feels like 15mins but you get to see pretty much all the highlights! Totally worth it!!
