Hanging Rock Lookout
Short, steep car trip or solid MTB ride from Nundle. Lookout turnoff before you reach the small township of Hanging Rock (from Nundle direction). Rough 1k unsealed road to lookout, OK for 2wd if taken carefully.

Unbelievably gorgeous views of the below valley and far beyond. Perfect spot for a picnic or even just to relax and enjoy the views.

Hanging Rock Lookout
About a 500mt narrow gravel road to get to the spot of the main road. Great views from various boulder ledges which are easily accessed.

Hanging Rock Lookout
Outstanding views over the Valley Gorge which was windy to good effect. Fairly easy drive to the lookout in a late model Kluger which is only around 8 km’s so from Nundle village.

This has a great view but a 1 km drive on dirt to get there - and with many sections not wide enough to pass. Still worthwhile

Hanging Rock Lookout
There were a few holes to watch out for but a normal 2WD can drive up the dirt road to reach this lookout without much trouble (in dry weather though). Roads from Nundle to Hanging Rock are bumpy but are being upgraded right now as of December 2021. Like someone else said, good view but Australia has plenty of these. Anyways, probably still worth a visit.
