Lifecare Oak Park Physiotherapy and Pilates

Do not go here, I would give 0 star if I could.I had a sports injury, went to see them right away the following morning first thing. I later found out I actually did my ACL, MCL and had severe torn ligaments which required extensive surgeries. But before I found out and when I went to see these people, the woman (who was arrogant, obnoxious and did not listen to the patient and symptoms) prodded, poked, and really seriously hurt my knees with all her tapping even when I was crying with pain, with no care or mercy.I told her I could not walk at all without assistance and required crutches, this woman Physiotherapist (I will address her as Doctor Death) told me that I could walk, and that it was just a minor sports tissue sprain, and acting as if I was being a whiner (if you have ever been unfortunate enough to have damaged your ACL and MCL you'd know the pain is almost intolerable at best), and of course, I was in SO MUCH EXCRUCIATING PAIN that I could not even budge or move, and was literally stuck in the one spot. I had to hop on one knee to get around, and begged her to give me some crutches which she begrudgingly agreed to when I left.It was a nightmare I would never ever forget. Anyway, I insisted on seeing someone else in their clinic, the older guy saw me, I told him my experience with Doctor Death, he basically just ignored it, swept it under the carpet, offered no sympathy or apology, and sent me right over to the MRI, my surgeries were booked in as a matter of urgency a short time after.I am so so so glad I spoke up, otherwise this woman would probably have further injured my knee and I would probably end up with a prosthetic leg or something by now if I continued to let her treat me and be too afraid or intimated to speak up.Moral of the story is, do not go here and two, always seek second opinions when in doubt.

Everyone I have encountered has been very friendly and professional.Caitlin is looking after me for a shoulder injury and I am so grateful for her skill and expertise! She is friendly and professional whilst also being funny and really good at her job! I am very happy with my treatment so far.
