Emailed a request via the warranty address on an important (and priority) matter regarding a faulty main entrance door set - Three days later and not even an acknowledgement of the email, let alone assistance. A call to the customer service line was of little use, can I give you their email address" being the reply

Best customer service going!My grandmother has been looking to replace a door handle which had become faulty after 13 years, manufactured by Gainsborough / Allegion. For almost a year she had tried every shop within 50km without a lead. After visiting her and getting in touch with Allegion, not only did they reply with a prompt response but also sent a replacement part to our door! (haha).Cannot thank Bill in the customer service team enough, she will be telling all her friends about the service forever. Small things like this make another persons whole year.

Spoke with Michelle on the phone.Needed a part (spring) for a Trilock series, which we had installed almost 2 decades ago. Sent in some pics and got an email back under an hour saying they will send out the part for free along with a spare.Which clearly shows these guys are focused on keeping their customers happy even decades later.Very friendly and fast customer service, I'd recommend these guys to anyone.Thank you for all your help Michelle.

I had a faulty Gainsborough Classic internal door knob set. The style has been discontinued. I could not find parts or a replacement set anywhere. I contacted Gainsborough, their customer service staff were very helpful, was told to go the warehouse. Bill, in the warehouse was very helpful and found some old parts which was needed to fix the problem. Great customer service.

After a wasted visit to Bunnings to buy a replacement screw set for a Gainsborough door handle I rang Gainsborough direct. The assistant couldn't have been more helpful. I explained one of the locking screws on an old door handle had come loose and the middle cylinder had been lost - probably vacuumed up. She asked how many I needed - I said two sets meaning top and bottom screws - she said better get 3 sets. Anyway I got 3 sets each of 4 screw sets in a jiffy bag posted out all at no charge. I fitted the two I needed this weekend and they were exactly what was needed. Pleasant, knowledgeable and prompt customer service - and all conducted from an Aussie service centre. Don't change anything!

My trades store told me Gainsborough after sales service was the best. Gainsborough didn't disappoint me. I told them what my problem was and before I could blink an eyelid they had express posted me a new lock. It was refreshing to be treated with respect as a customer and not looked at suspiciously.

Very impressed with their customer service - spoke to Tania who was knowledgeable and helpful about a problem with a front door lock. She informed me it was under warranty and requested an email be sent to them. Received a call from their locksmith - Dale within the day informing that he would come out the next day. He came as promised, was courteous and professional - quite frankly I have never experienced such a high level of customer service.Congratulations to Allegion for putting customers first!!!

Dont buy Gainsbourough if you want to buy more handles down the track as they delete lines. l have been renovating, done half the house in a door handle 10 months later they no longer sell them.

Rang to find out a about rosettes in chrome door handles, could they do a special customer order the answer l got was NO we dont sell separately but you can buy all the other parts but not them Go figure....but they would have boxes and boxes of these in the warehouse ready to assemble.Bad service gainsbourg.
