Shitest fries being served till now. Ordered sweet potatoes fries but brought normal one which was soggy and bitter, seems like had been fried thrice. Not even worth of one star!!

Irish pub with flair. Plenty of food offering. Our entree started with Cheese Burrata, parfait and salmon bruschetta,Buffalo chicken wings, and main course with steak n chips, fish of the day and chicken burger. Every plate comes out from the kitchen was so amazing ,well season, cooked to perfection. Chips was the highlight. It was tasty, delicious. Chicken wings was juicy, with blue cheese sauce. Home made cured salmon bruschetta was top dish. Steak cooked medium rare perfectly. Service has been amazing since walk-in, front of house were kind, nice and professional. 5 out of 5 for everything. Definetly Will go back on near future and will spread the word to everyone. Big applause to Head chef, kitchen staff, and floor staff. Thanks Temple Bay.

I was alarmed to see this bar serving street cocktails on Saturday, 7 August, at 4.37 pm; during a hard lockdown, NSW had 319 new cases of COVID 19. Of the 319, only 138 were isolated during their infectious period. It was a warm day in Coogee, and many people were out. If you look at the attached photos, you'll see the line at the front of the bar, very few people wearing a mask and groups of people congregating together (all without wearing a mask or wearing it over their mouth and nose) as they waited for their cocktails. You'll also see the size of the crowd of people in front of the bar. Everyone was either lining up to order their cocktails or waiting to receive their order. I did not see one person leave with food, just trays of cocktails. In one of the photos, the group of four women who had just ordered cocktails; each received a paper tray with two cocktails- no food and no masks. The Temple Bay Bar's loud music wasn't helpful to discourage people from gathering, only enhancing the social setting and encouraging these young people to ignore all the health advice. The staff at The Temple Bay Bar were making no effort to promote social distancing either. I'd wouldn't be surprised if many people checked into the venue for contact tracing. NSW has been in a hard lockdown for 6-weeks and, with irresponsible business practices such as this, there is no end in sight. I hope owners of these small local businesses, such as this bar in Coogee, will start to play their part and do the right thing so we can all get out of this together.

Been going to Temple Bay it opened and always love the food and staff there, always so friendly and welcoming but after the experience we had yesterday and seeing the “so called Lady Manager” treat customers the way she did I highly doubt I’ll step foot in there again if she was to be working. She was so rude, I was in shock that she even got employed there never mind be called a Manager, her attitude was hurrendous not to mention the looks and daggers she was giving customers. I’m hoping when we go back we won’t have to go through that kind of experience again, its a shame because it has no reflection of the other amazing staff temple bay have

The manager, George was rude and condescending after i advised that my cider he had served me was flat, he proceeded to ask in an aggressive tone if i wanted to go to the cellar to check the keg as it had just been changed. This is completely unprofessional and very poor customer service - particularly as he continued to argue with me in front of other customers. I’m concerned that this is the standard of customer service from a manager in this venue. This completely ruined our dining experience being first round customers. The food was delicious although it’s a shame as I wont be back given the poor service.

Popped into Temple Bay to grab some food. Grabbed some menu’s off the bar and proceeded to order. When it came to pay I noticed that each menu item was $5 - $6 more than the menu. When I asked the manager as to why, he explained the prices had gone up and they were waiting for new menus. Out of principal we decided to leave and go elsewhere. It’s fair enough if you want to put your prices up (fully understand that your costs have increased) - that is within your right. However, surely you should wait until you’ve had your menu’s updated before doing so! You can’t advertise one price and then charge customers another. It boggles my mind that the Manager refused to acknowledge this.
