Very friendly staff and a fantastic service to have in regional area. Yes, there is sometimes a line up but if you can't wait you can drop and go" by labelling bag with your scheme ID number and leaving it for the staff to process later."

This would be a great idea if you didn’t have to sit and wait for minimum 40mins to drop off your containers!!!There needs to be a better system in Atherton because the one there isn’t working. The $7 I get is not worth it, I will just start using my recycling bin again.Can’t fault the girl that works there though, she’s helpful.

I'm so proud to have such a facility in this regional part of the Queensland. It was super easy to use, friendly staff, help conservation and I get some money. What else do you need??It will be a different story if you needed to wait 40 minutes, but I only waited about 10-15 minutes.

What a joke, waiting for 2 hours and still on the third car in line since we've been here..... One machine and the staff letting people bring bags in cutting line.... Absolute joke and pathetic service . Drive through not designed for all vehicles. No communication... Would never come here a again. Only day of and I've wasted it trying to recycle. Don't come here, waste of time, head to innisfail. Much quicker even with the extra drive

It is busy. Although the bloke who is staffed there was extremely friendl, so helpful and yes, we had to learn how to do it which took about 45 minutes but mate its money for nothing. KIDS LOVED IT! Such an amazing idea. So disappointing to see people come online and trash talk a recycling centre.

Great facility to have in Atherton!! Sometimes really busy but you can drop and leave for staff to process or just go when not so busy. i always check busy times on google and avoid peak times. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

This centre has improved greatly. They have two recycle machines so it’s pretty quick. I arrived with 5 cars in front and 3 behind me. I was through and out in 15 minutes

Having been using Atherton depot for a couple of month. Find staff friendly even when very busy. Manager Ricky is excellent to deal with and always has a huge welcoming smile on his face. Only problem is lack of staff and often a bit of a wait but that is beyond his control! Give him more staff!!!
