Galaxy Nails

I don't like to even leave 1 star. They don't deserve it.The Man that owns it treats his staff terribly. He is a bully and screams in their faces.He did an awful job on my nails. They all broke in 1 week.He let his trainee burn me 3 times. He then screamed in my face when I returned to complain. DO not go there.

It was my first time going there and I felt so welcomed when I first walked in I was attended to straight away. The result was great and the Price for shellac was reasonable I will be going back

Had to change previous 5 star to 3. Pedicure was amazing. Owner was very meticulous, didn't feel rushed and they did a great job. But the acrylics my partner has gotten their has been not so great.

Was really impressed with my pedicure with shellac removal and reapplication. The lady I had gave me the most amazing massage I’ve had to date, it was so well done and wasn’t a quick and light rub like usual. Her pedicure was also done to perfection and my feet actually feel soft and look really neat. Everywhere I’ve been I’m usually left disappointed whether it be a rushed massage, unevenly cut nails or the polish chipping off or peeling off too soon. These guys were super busy but they didn’t rush the job they were doing. The lady next to me had a decent massage too, and I noticed the girls doing the acrylic nails being really particular and careful with the job they were doing. Highly recommend!

Nothing fancy but Roxie was so lovely and did a fantastic job on them. Nice even coat (which sounds easy but most places don’t get that right).Only minus a star as it was a little more expensive than normal ($35 for nothing more than just shellac) but they did make sure I knew the price and were okay with it before starting.Would still come again and see Roxie!

This review is difficult to type. Literally. My nails are so much longer than I asked for so I cannot type properly. I got acrylic nails with Shellac. I paid $60. I wanted to get my nails done professionally for my 21st next week, and it was an absolute nightmare. First the nail technician didn't glue the nail on at the right angle, so had to take it off and start again. But not before trying to force it to sit the way he wanted.I agreed on a length that I was happy with, but the technician cut each at a diagonal angle. I pointed this out, and so he kept sanding down, but at the same angle, until there was no point in getting acrylics at all because it was almost the original length, and still uneven from one side of the nail to the other.I came back in and pointed this out, but the technician grabbed my fingers and kept telling me they were straight, and then when I adamantly disagreed, tried to sand them down MORE. Eventually they agreed to redo them, but simply stuck another acrylic nail over the top! When I asked for a little shorter, the lady told me that would make it the original length. Not true. My nails are now so long I am unable to do basic tasks. Every time I asked for a little adjustment, like narrowing the nail so it wasn't wider at the top than the bottom, I was told it would be fixed at the end, or just told I was wrong. By the end of the two hours I just had to walk out as I couldn't waste anymore time.The staff didn't listen to me when I asked them to change things, and the nails look like boulders on my fingers. They are significantly wider at the top than at the bottom, and although the shellac price list says it includes cuticles, they left my cuticles raw, and no attempt was made to push them back so as not to leave a gaping space between my cuticle and the colour. My friend who also got hers done at the same time didn't have time to wait to get them fixed. They missed parts of her nail with colour, and were also uneven. She left disappointed.DO NOT GO HERE. So disappointed in the result, and can't afford to get them redone.

The staff are all fabulously friendly, professional and do a great spa pedi. Best yet!!!

TERRIBLE. My daughters have been here many times without an issue. My 12 year old daughter was allowed to her nails done for Xmas. She has done this alone on a few occasions with people we know well. She was charged $165 and the owners thought it was ok to proceed. I have never heard of this amount being charged on any occasion, especially at an Asian walk in nail salon.Unless this is resolved, the bad review will stand.

The staff are excellent.The salon is clean.The service and prices are excellent
