Albatross campground
This is a beautiful picnic spot on the junction of the Meander River and Mother Cummings Rivulet. Located on Meander Falls Road between the two bridges on the way to the Meander Falls car park. It has been called the Meander Forest Reserve Picnic Ground since the 1960s and never to our knowledge (the Meander Resource Management Group that maintain it) has been called Albatross campground.

great little spot, plenty of parking, picnic tables, cement slabs for tent spaces, no toilets, closest toilets is at meander dam, is close to meander Falls walk, plenty of space, great place for a swim, camp the night or stop for lunch.. water is crystal clear surrounded by rain forest and ferns.. only gave it 3 stars due to amenities that are not available and no phone reception
