Stumbled upon this place while in town getting tyre repairs. One of the best mineral museums I've ever seen and I could have spent hours more here. Beautiful specimens and some really great descriptions of the local ones. The diary entries of the miner were fascinating. If you're in or passing through Georgetown, it's a must see. $10 for the Ted mineral museum and $10 for the adjoining Etheridge experience. $15 for both. Both are great. Please go and support this place.

Magnificent display of gems and minerals. Both from Australia and around the world. Biggest collection that you would not expect to see in a small town.Very affordable price. A must see if you are in Georgetown.

This was a wonderful showcase of the Etheridge shire's history. From cattle to gold and crystals, it has it all.We really enjoyed our experience. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. It even had some interactive areas for the kids.

The display was awesome, some of the most spectacular gemstones, rocks and fossils I have seen. Highly recommend stopping for this at Georgetown

Excellent collection. Displayed in cases and I guess that's safest but would have been nice to have more hands on.
