Stay away from them if you can! Incompetent doesn't even begin to describe Engine and how they treat their customers.Our apartment was robbed due to a security breach (known by Engine but left unactioned for MONTHS) and all our keys were stolen. It has been an ongoing nightmare trying to get things reordered due to their lack of communication (6 months to be precises) - there is zero customer care or service provided.Specifically Holly Cook (portfolio executive) - months of no response and seems to be a simple lack of care for her clients" to provide them the basic decency of a timely response.Unable to escalate it as there is no channel for this. I am amazed a body corporate operates like this. Trust the various reviews on Google for Engine - I have heard great things about Civium and would recommend any other body corp before choosing engine."

Spoken to Holly Cook ( Portfolio Executive ) in building property group, rude and unsympathetic, cut you off all the time time, does NOT even understand the basics of communication and customer care. We requested to have our apartment door repaired, took months no response, calling her for update then get treat like this. And there is no channel to complaint about anything. Definitely not recommend this company.

Engine were chosen by ?whom to manage the newly built apartment building I moved into over 12 months. They are the epitome of providers of no service I have come across … maintenance requests via their app have ‘reported’ on them but never closed off so you have no clue whether matter has been attended to. The anonymous people at end of phone are clueless. I certainly will be asking for a change of property management group to my fellow apartment dwellers.

I work with Holly (And Taylor) and I am also on the OC for my building. I have a different perspective to a few of the more negative reviews having been part of the OC for quite sometime. It would be unfair if I don't acknowledge that there had been extensive issues in the past with respect to management of our building by the previous managers prior to Holly. I also won’t comment on the experience of other tenants/owners with Engine. What I will say is that after an extended period in between 2018-2021 where there was a high turnover or absence of any of building managers, Holly joined towards the end of Dec 2021 and had to pick up a lot of the slack that had been left behind. Of all the building managers to date, I personally feel that Holly is the most engaged and knowledgeable. She is aware of what has/hasn’t been done, is very upfront about what can/can’t be done and is very clear of where the responsibilities lie (Sometimes it's not Engine!). I give Engine a score of 4 for Holly’s efforts. They lose 1 star because of the previous shortfalls

Based on my experience, they are really incompetent and just simply don't care which is appalling. I will definitely NOT recommend them. I have an emergency today and need access to my apartment urgently while my partner and I were interstate attending a funeral. Unfortunately, throughout the day they just pushing the responsibility to people who are not in the office during office hours. Many hours later the office is close and my matter is not resolved. They just simply said sorry cannot help you today, someone will contact you tomorrow. Why would you not have anyone in the office that can deal with the keys. Their lack of response is truly a reflection of their incompetency.

Seems like ongoing targeted harassment.Having tended and improved the nature strip, I put down new soil to grow the grass. Some grass started coming through quickly, which was good as I was to tend the nature strip.The week after laying the soil, I was issued with a infraction for allowing the stones that are laid down to have weeds growing through.1 - it was soil, brown soil and quite good quality.2- the weeds were the first bits of grass to grow.From the picture they sent, you can quite clearly tell its soil and that the green is grass.Just wow.

As a owner and also on the OC, we found Engine property is on the ball in all features of finance and administration for our Paragon tower. Holly and Taylor have worked hand in glove with the owners and the OC over the last year balancing the books and following up on all of our concerns.I thank you both for keeping our homes and facilities in the tower in top condition.

Like many of the other people posting negative reviews, we too have experienced poor service from engine. They just simply do not respond to emails or calls. If they do respond then it isn’t until weeks later. It’s quite disappointing considering our fees are still charged for account management. Our very simple issue has been unresolved since June 2022. Customers shouldn’t have to resort to writing public Google reviews like this to get a reply from a company that they pay a management fee to.
