Can’t recommend enough! I’ve been with Emily for a little while now and she is the best psychologist I’ve ever seen.

Stay away from this place and Emma, ESPECIALLY if you have a personality disorder, does not respect boundaries. Worst experience of my life.

I didn't make it past the booking phase. When I phoned to make a booking, the first person I spoke with gave me a few subtle hints that it was uncouth to request a booking with a specific therapist, and advised me that *one of the other therapists* would phone me back to arrange a booking. At this stage I already felt uncomfortable about having asked about booking in with a specific therapist, as the tone of the person was very pointed. One of the other therapists phoned me back an hour or so later and did their best to sell me an appointment with someone other than the person I requested, and at this point my original suspicions around the disapproval for requesting an appointment with a specific therapist were confirmed. She stated that their interest is in getting someone in for an appointment as quickly as possible whereas I'm more interested in matching my requirements to someone I think I could work well with. The therapist I requested to make an appointment with had no availability for the next two months and the person I was speaking with seemed to think that was sufficient leverage to convince me to book in with another therapist. I said that the wait was ok and that I would like to book in for the appointment in two months. She with argued with me, doing her best to convince me to book in with another therapist. I had to keep re-iterating my original request while she continued to give me the hard sales pitch for other therapists. In the end I gave up. I wouldn't have felt safe/comfortable visiting any of them after such an ordeal, particularly given that they're mainly interested in quick throughput of appointments as stated in the callback. I feel like this would be the kind of organisation that would act like they know what's best for you without listening to a word you say which is not something I want to involve myself with. I have more than enough people in my life acting like what I say is invalid without adding any more.On the bright side, the information about the therapists on their website was informative in terms of helping me to understand each of the therapists skills, and helped me to decide which therapist I thought would match my requirements.I was under the impression that therapist information is made available on the website to help people work out who they might be a good fit with, but apparently it's more about the person who calls back and who they want to book you in with. When I told the person who called me back that I didn't want to continue, she acted all smug like I was the one with the problem which I've seen is a common fallback for so-called professionals in this industry. I'm not going to deny that I have mental health problems, but it's also very apparent that the person I spoke with at this organisation has some problems of their own.

I’ve truly never had a worse experience in my life, I tried so hard to push through the experiences that made me uncomfortable because I thought it was just me. I should’ve listened to myself. From the receptionists not answering, taking hours to reply, not being able to book an appointment without them taking you card details before hand (even if you’ve never been there), booking 3 sessions in advance with someone I’ve never met, cancelling and trying to make me rebook 5 days before my next appointment and not asking for my referral and making me pay in full until I followed it up after…. to the person I saw making unqualified judgments based on her minimal research (openly told me she knew nothing about it) even though I’m under another health professional seeking treatment for said issue nor did she ask if she could talk about it OR ask me if I needed help. I stated more than once that I did not want my session to focus on this issue which she ignored. I’ve truly never felt so belittled or had such a horrible experience EVER at any therapy, counselling or psychologist.

All the staff here have been amazing. Always super happy to help and friendly. I've seen many psychologists before and it's great to have finally been able to find one who understands me and is able to provide therapy that is not only beneifitial, but is easy to understand, and explained well. The whole practice is very professional. Would highly recommend them.

I am a family lawyer and work with lots of people going through hard times. I have no hesitation recommending Emma McNulty to my clients who need support. If you need support through a difficult time or help to make positive changes in your life, go and see Emma.

I was recommended this clinic for an issue of disability (ASD) but the person who answered the phone when I called was nasty and rude, and I think misinterpreted a disability related affect to my voice as anger and refused to speak to me.I did tell them I had the particular disability and answered their initial questions, but they somehow became convinced I was angry and then hung up on me while I was trying to explain more. I wasn't angry, just trying to answer their questions and explain, so I'm assuming their issue was just how my voice comes across, which is a little unusual, but again I did tell them why. They also said they can't help someone with my needs, so I guess this clinic doesn't see people with ASD after all and I don't know why this place was suggested to me in the first place. If that's something that does happen here I hope the staff can receive more training in disability issues and how these can impact on vocalisation and communication.

I had a great experience with True North Psychology a few months ago, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and within a few short sessions the anxiety that I had been dealing with for years suddenly became a manageable, very minor aspect of my life.
