I have been diagonised with severe kidney failure and needed money with my treatment and dialysis. I am going through so much health wise n mental health is so bad too. I had pawned some of my mums gold Jewelary in this cash converter. I had Pawned $2000 with my mums 45grams of gold bengals. I also paid interest for one month. But last two months I have got bad health issues and reactions from medications so I had been in n out of royal Adelaide hospital. However I had called the cash converter and also told about my problem to Ryan and told him to put on hold as that’s my mums last memories I have with me and he said me to come on that exact same day but i was just back from hospital that day. I was not even in any condition to travel as I had so much weakness . Today I called them and said how much is my interest for my bengals as I have paid $400 in July that’s a months interest but now I m told I can’t pay any interest . I must buy that bengals by paying $4000. I can’t even believe it’s true and people can be so inhumane. While I called them last week I told them about my severe condition too and today also I told I had been gng to hospital often due to my issues. I can’t believe people can be so much inhumane and for the sake of few dollars they can break play with People’s life.It’s been so hard for me for few months so Red Cross and my college counsellor are extremely supportive and I always thought people here are so nice and genuine .however from this cash converters I came to know that people are not always kind and have moral values but are so into money that you can have the worst nightmares of your life. I would not care about this bengals if they weren’t my mums last memories of her. I am soon having kidney transplant so I only have so much mental stress and pain. I hope this cash converter gets karma back to it someday Bcz nobody does this to person going through a lot already.

I have purchased four watches here. All in excellent condition and very pleased. Two quality Citizen eco drives and two Pulsar quartz. Good service and enjoyable purchases.

My husband wanted to sell some jewellery. They told him it’s not 9ct gold even though we could provide the receipts. We had it on loan before at Morphett Vale and they tested it and said it was gold. He also wanted to sell a high pressure cleaner but they said they don’t take them anymore because they can’t test them. We are struggling financially like a lot of people and used our last bit of petrol to come from Reynella. We did get $30.00 for a watch. I don’t know why there seems to be different prices for different Cash Converters. Go to Morphett Vale as they really look after their customers.

Prices on items way too expensive, you're competing with online retailers & ebay etc -*EDIT; after reading through the reviews and seeing some very sad instances of people losing what was loaned or unable to afford payments to keep their belongings - the best advice is to immediately see a financial advisor (many are free to use ie Uniting Communities etc) - they have the ability to either organise a large reduction in buy back cost for you OR in many instances wipe the fees entirely and get your belongings back.Obviously one needs to prove that they are financially struggling, and you will no doubt not be allowed to again put your items into hock at that particular shop - but is very handy if you are in this position. Interest on property is what causes folks to get stuck in a cycle of simply paying back interest to keep items safe with no outlook of redeeming items. It's how pawn shops make their money and of course no one with wealth is hocking property so it preys on those that can I'll afford it.

This is the store you want to come to for staff that are friendly, helpful, efficient and understanding. I was impressed with the fair prices for items not just for purchase, but when selling items I no longer needed.but Most impressive was the highly proficient level of customer service which I have not found as good in other CC stores. Thank you Suad, Medina and the gentleman who assisted with sale of my unwanted items. I will definitely back and recommend this particular store for anyone looking for second hand goods or seeking a loan or sale of unwanted items. The staff here are as awesome as I had heard.

Not a great experience will not barter on goods .Think they have forgotten what a second hand shop is all about never had this problem any other location

I bought a Flute for my daughter cost $149, went home she tried to play on it and sound very bad, I went to the shop after 20 minutes, but the management said NO Return or even exchange, and they said it's just flute nothing wrong in it, so I thought my daughter doesn't know anything, anyway I toke it to musical shop and they said that one of the wroest flute ever seen and it's need maintenance will cost almost $100.I will just give one star because the girl in the front shop tried to help but the management uselessNow I spent money in the rubbish,Not recommended stay away from these people.

Great customer service every time, Nathan is a champ that deserves a promotion and the retail manager (I think his name is Alex) always looks after me, as I've been a local/regular for a few years now. Made many purchases and the only negative feedback I have is the 30$ cancellation fee on laybuy, at least let me transfer it to another item in the store inventory!
