Namadgi Visitor Centre
What an experience. Camped at Mount Clear on a full moon night, dingoes calling their mates, a bit of rain, a bit of snow on the Sunday morning- refreshing.Wonderful walk in the park visiting four restored cottages. What a life those sheep farmers and herdsmen must have experienced a 100+ years ago.Unsealed road in good condition. Would recommend all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles.No mobile reception_ a good thing.

Great spot to launch your hike around the Namadgi!There is ample parking here, as well as tables and a BBQ as well. I would bring cleaning materials for the BBQ…Perfect spot to start your Mount Tennant walk.

Walked around the outdoor facilities…Pretty great! Download the Canberra walks ap, for extra info.Indoors was closed.. didn’t say why,.. I’d come from the south the day before through the national park… turns out there’s a low bridge with 20 or 30cm water washing over it that could be why…

The visitor centre is well worth a visit -Grab the information for the amazing adventures you can have in the park! There is a great souvenir shop and informative information boards

Great bunch, good practical info.A stepping stove from Canberra, and a key to the south national Park we dropped in on the way down to Mt Clear for the inside word. They had firewood, maps and hands on experience.

An interesting visitor centre, with books and maps for sale.There is a small coffee machine, which the staff can make coffee and hot chocolate.

Namadgi Visitor Centre
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on the area. Staff member Edna (I hope I remembered that correct!) was very nice to me and stopped for a chat. Loved the walk from the back of the visitor centre.
