Adam was amazing. Myself and my partner came in as total novices wanting to get into mountain bike riding. Adam went above and beyond to find us bikes suitable for our level and what we wanted to do.He then helped us get everything else we needed to get started. He was a wealth of knowledge, teaching us as much as possible during the sale.He even attached drink holders and other components to our bikes that we bought while he did his final checks.Highly recommend him and the North Lakes store. Great service.

First time to have my bike serviced in 99 bikes north lakes and I was impressed with the service I received. Excellent bike servicing by Matty who went up and beyond in making sure needed service is attended and options provided on parts needing replacement in line with my budget. Trustworthy fella.

I've only ever had positive experiences here. Whether discussing bike storage options, getting bikes serviced or buying a new bike, the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. They are passionate about cycling and making sure the customer has the best experience. When I recently bought a new bike and was taking an obligatory NBD photo for Strava I chuckled when I noticed that they'd even gone to the trouble of aligning the valves and the wording on the tires.

Absolutely awesome the staff were so helpful and friendly, they even looked after our puppy while we shopped. Rachael was amazing really knowledgeable and educated us with all we needed to know. Definitely our go to for all our future bike needs. Love our cruisers they're awesome thank you guys x

I took my ebike into this shop for a simple hardware service (brakes, chain, gears, derailleur, tires) no electronics.These people tried to:1. Villainise me for having an ebike2. Tried to upsell me on motor maintenance even though they were not asked (extra $400)And most importantly, they did not do the work requested and paid premium for.My derailleur was not adjusted by the mechanic correctly and now skips on 2 of the highest gears.Upon ringing and inquiring about this, they have told me, in as many words to go get stuffed.I would not take my child's balance bike to these people let alone a real bike I care about again.Poor service, terrible attitude, awful workmanship, horrible value for money, inherent bias against personal electric devices.I will now have to pay further costs to a separate mechanic to do what they charged me $250 to not do.0/10 Go literally anywhere else.

Took my road bike here for a service, gave the young fellow the option to do it, seemed confident. When i received it back, it had the 'been road tested and ready to go' tags. My chain (brand new) was jumping on a couple of the gears, not happy. Took back to be told it now needed a new cassette block. This would've been picked up on the test ride. Now more $$ for a cassette. Ended up being quite expensiveOn the other hand they have a great selection of lights, bar tape, all the accessories. Staff friendly

Dropped in without a service booking and they were able to fix bike in a couple hours which was great! How ever once I got bike back, seat height and saddle had been adjusted to a completely different setting. Surely it should have been marked or readjusted while I was there to collect.
