Legends! Klaus knows his business. He is no frills, to the point, capable, and fair. My amplifier had an intermittent issue, and after paying for the initial assessment with no result, when the issue recurred, Klaus and his team took the unit back, did more tests, found the issue, and returned it at no extra cost. Much appreciated! Let there be rock! ... also picked up a cracker reconditioned TV while I was there, very reasonable price, and all the advice you could want for hooking it up through the amp... free!

Very BAD experience - NO customer Service, stay away!Rude customer service from staff which the boss Klaus allows. They are not helpful, swear at the product you have brought in for repairs, are disrespectful, condescending & on the defensive. When I brought this to the owners attention later on, instead of listening, coming up with a solution, smoothing things over or at least saying that he will talk to the staff member. Klaus was on the defensive with curt words like excuse me"

I don’t know why there’s so many negative reviews for AVL. I had my amplifier repaired and had a great chat about it and electronics in general. Great service and knowledge in my opinion. I certainly will be back for any future electronic repairs!

Amplifier had died... he brought it back to life within a week... my service was great, he explained what happened and what repairs were carried out and what to do in the future to try and minimise any more failures.Highly recommend.

Claus would have to be one of the rudest and abrupt sales persons I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After explaining the problem with our DVD on the phone, he asked us to drop it into his shop. Wrong move! My husband is an invalid in a wheelchair and unable to get into the shop because there is no disabled access, so I walked, no, I limped into his shop, lugging a very heavy DVD unit. He stood there watching me grapple with the door and then just shouted, I’m not touching that thing. Because someone has taken the top off the unit I will not be held responsible. It’s too old anyway, you’ll never get parts for it. Thanks Claus, you could have said that on the phone before we made the epic journey into town. You’ll never see us again! God knows how you keep your doors open.

Great service. Great people. These folks know their stuff and ask all the right questions.

Yamaha amplifier. Love it. Great machine. It stopped working. Called Yamaha - said most likely in protection mode. Dropped off to Audio Vision Services. Klaus called Yamaha the next day. Worked with Yamaha to fix protection mode issue. Service didn't stop there - Klaus took time to look at bulletins for this machine. Found a potential future problem. Order parts, fixed it before it was a problem. All done in a couple of days. Machine operational. Love it.

Absolutely appalling experience.Needed to see this store as they are the appointed repairer for Harvey Norman warranties.The owner of the shop started yelling at me, out of the blue, and as soon as I entered the store the first time. Realistically, that's when I should have walked away and let HN deal with it further.Left a subwoofer with a cracking sound with them, had it 'fixed' a week later, however upon returning home the same issue was still present and I contacted both Audio Vision and Harvey Norman the same day I had picked it up to let them know the issue had not been fixed, was told to bring it in again.Unfortunately, second time it was concluded that the issue was caused by myself and would no longer be covered under warranty.Extremely disappointed to see a $800 subwoofer go to waste, multiple trips to the store, receive such rude treatment from the store owner I have not experienced elsewhere before, and feeling doubtfull about the stores integrity and ability to service audio equipment

Easy and approachable.Best electronic repair shop in cairns. Good old style.They helped me with my old trinitron monitor which no one was willing to touch coz of lack of experience.They repaired professionally and made it like new.Thanks both of you guys.I Appreciate your help
