Avenue Constructions were a delight start to finish. They quoted accurately, were on hand to deal with any issues as they emerged and were responsive.The whole team were pleasant and professional.We are very happy with the finished product.

We have utilised Avenue Constructions three times in the last 7 years – twice for major renovations/extensions and once for a new build. Steve is a great builder and has the highest standards, resulting in a build quality that is second to none. During our renovations neighbours commented on how neat the build site was throughout. He is approachable, open to ideas, and manages every aspect of the build, whilst maintaining regular communication throughout all stages. Yes, he returns phone calls and messages! I strongly recommend building with Avenue Constructions

Steve Wood and his team from Avenue Constructions did an amazing job extending our 1930's Californian Bungalow in Central Albury. Our renovations had been a long term project for us and this extension completed by Steve and his team was our final major work. We were impressed by Steve's communication, organisation, time management and workmanship. The job was completed under the time estimated and came in on budget. There was minimal disruption to our family and ongoing communication to advise of any predicted disruptions. Everyone who worked on our house displayed respect of our home both in their conduct on the job and how they left the job clean and tidy at the end of each day. I was very impressed that in the midst of Covid calamity, constraint and chaos my new house build was completed on time and on budget.The tradies were all very experienced and polite. They helped out with some useful suggestions (as I was wearing my rookie hat)I added in a few things at the last minute (loft ladder and changing my kitchen splashback) and they did not charge an arm and leg for these variation.I also really liked the fact that I was able to supply somethings of my own (farmhouse sink, front door and vanity etc) to suit the style of my build.The Draftslady and finishing off carpenter are legends.The finished product is a very high quality and easy house to live in.

Building a house is one the most physically, emotionally and financially taxing projects a family can take on. Therefore, choosing the right person to have by your side on such a journey is one of the most important choices you can make. In order to make the process as painless as possible your builder requires a number of qualities including experience, skill, honesty and a great listening ear. We were so very happy that we chose Steve from Avenue Constructions to build our Wangaratta family home in 2010. He and Tanya displayed all those important qualities and more. If we decided at some stage in the future to build another home we would have no hesitation in employing their services again. Thanks again guys for your great work!

We first spoke to Avenue Constructions about renovating our house with not much of an idea of what we wanted. After chatting to Steve and doing some initial planning we came up with some simple ideas to grow our family home so that it was able to keep up with our growing family. The whole process was so much smoother than what we thought it would be. From the planning and development stage of changing things around so that it would work better for us, to the actual build - everything was professional and just worked well.
