John is a master of his craft, and it shows. In my line of work being a real estate agent, presentation is key and being local to various businesses is vital. As someone who has been a part of the 2221 community for 30+ years, finding a hairdresser who can work with my hair was always the challenge. I had been to many places and for the past number of years, I have followed John’s work wherever he was located. With a beautiful shop in Carss Park, John and his team have everything you need. When I met John some years ago, I knew he understood my hair and what I wanted to achieve every time I visited. Year upon year he hits the mark with my hair cuts. He is happy to explore ideas with you as well if you need guidance. The team are friendly, welcoming, the ease of booking fantastic and when you have your hair washed, cut and all, the feeling when you leave is rewarding. The entire team makes you feel at a home. I can get to the salon from home, work and on the road with ease. Make the effort whether local or out of area to meet the team and let them know what you need. They are excellent. Shout out to Mode Hair Artistry for always taking care of my curly locks. You are the only ones allowed to cut them :D

I have been a platinum blonde for many years and needed to give my hair a break. I was referred to Mode Hair Artistry by my boss, and I am extremely happy with the result!! I had a colour consultation with Tamara first, I told her my concerns and how I didn’t want to go too dark as it would be a shock being so blonde for so long, but I know I needed to add some colour/warmth to save my hair from further damage. Tamara understood my concerns and made me feel really at ease and explained very thoroughly of what she suggests I do, and how it would look, which then helped me decide on the best outcome for my hair. Both John & Tamara are very professional and experienced, and they both worked on my colour that I really wanted to ultimately achieve (my photo inspiration) and they have done a fantastic job!!! My colour turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it to and I am absolutely amazed with my result - thank you John & Tamara, you are both amazing xx

Go to this salon every single week on a Friday! Beyond professional such friendly staff, get looked after so well. Wanted to jump on and write a review because of how much my hair has grown and improved and it is so visible to everyone. Love them

I’ve been coming to John and Tamara for three years and it feels so good to have hairdressers that genuinely care about making me feel good. I have super fine hair and have always had trouble finding not only skilled hairdressers but people who want to make my hair look great. But most importantly, the friendly, welcoming, positive vibe at the salon is the best part. I always look forward to seeing Tamara and love her warm, authentic personality. John is the friendliest person and Taylor’s can do attitude is beautiful to see in a younger hairdresser. Go and check them out if you haven’t already! They are excellent at what they do.

The staff at Mode Hair are great . They are knowledgeable with all aspects of hair. I always feel fabulous when my hair is cut, coloured and blow dried. John , Tamara, and Taylor are very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this salon, they do an exceptional job.
