Good for parents but not for students

Average services.

Ironside oshc may seem like a reasonable care program but I’m happy to say I won’t be going back there nor my children. They have harassed, bullied and filmed my child’s friend without consent. All they care about is the image of oshc, they don’t care about the children or there requests. My child had come back home crying that from the fact that the oshc staff judged her over her requests. The staff had also band my child and her friends from using equipment, that is age appropriate saying that it’s only for the children in younger grades. They don’t have anything to do for the older grades and if they do they restrict you for doing it. But is it safe for your children? No, it is not. They have rules that are in forced and easily bendable. They do not care about your safety. I’m proud to say I won’t be sending my child here.

Service is not always 100% however since the programs have been reworked they are much better suited to each child's level. I do think they go overboard with implementing some of the policies and I hate the new Kangaroo Time system, its gone backwards with payment options and the check in feature

Even if i was sad do you really think i could trust you enough to tell you anything.Ironside OSHC has many flaws that can be improved, their fruit is so dirty. The celery has dirt on it and the apples have this white stuff on it. The gloves that the kids use to serve can get gross sometimes because when the gloves touch the water it becomes all bubbly and gross. Even when teachers are serving with gloves, they touch their hair and face. A boy did't get the right sandwich, so he gave it back to the staff member, instead of disposing she put it back in the sandwich box with the rest of the sandwiches.They use to have many food options but now the options are declining.Some kids are favortised too. All kids cant touch iPads while other preppies get to play Minecraft, after throwing a tantrum. If there is a conflict, educators will just solve" it by pushing you to play together.This is why I don't look for educators help during a conflict. Students often go out of bounds and educators either don't notice or notice but don't care.Kids learn to swear from other peers and staff. Now preppies even swear to peers and staff :(.During the grade 6 party

An absolutely amazing service, excursions are so much fun and the educators are very kind and caring. I have 4 children that have attended the service and they range from Prep to Grade 6, they all love attending and believe the staff are lots of fun and play with them not just stand and watch. My oldest child says that some children think they can be strict but, he says it's just that they won't tolerate any form of bullying or disrespect. Would highly recommend this service and so would several of the other parents.
