These guys are quite ridiculous to deal with. Troy the store manager has been horrific to deal with. He wont be apologetic or talk to provide solution . Clearly he does not like his job and is grumpy .They are in breach of contract and i will drag them to Consumer justice department. They have crossed 15 days for delivery and above all they assured us to come and deliver and take the packaging but now the manager who seems doped or grumpy to blabber stating they won’t.Horrible experience . Fortitude Valley sales and management SUCKS

You would think dealing with a premium" brand that you would get great service. On purchasing a lounge our expected delivery was 12-14 weeks which is long but we knew about it on purchasing. Then 2 days before it was the 14 weeks we received a text message saying it was going to arrive in their warehouse mid- October which was a further 6 weeks (a total of 20 weeks) no apology for the delay

Dear Customer Service,I am writing this letter to express my utmost dissatisfaction with the appalling level of service I have received from your company. On April 28th, I placed an order for a table and six chairs, and since then, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.During the initial delivery, I was astounded to discover that only four chairs had arrived, and to make matters worse, one of the chairs was of an incorrect length, causing it to creak. Naturally, I immediately sought an exchange from the delivery personnel. They were courteous enough to document the faulty chairs through photographs, but despite their assurances of a prompt replacement, the situation has only deteriorated further.After waiting patiently for nearly a week, I had no choice but to contact your customer service department to inquire about the delay. To my astonishment, the head office seemed entirely unaware of my predicament and demanded photographic evidence of the chair in question. My boyfriend promptly provided the requested photos and videos, hoping to expedite the resolution process.Today, on May 30th, I find myself compelled to contact your customer service center for the fourth time, and to my dismay, I am subjected to repeating and explaining the same predicament repeatedly, like a mindless parrot. Furthermore, the representative who spoke with us today had the audacity to insinuate that we were attempting to deceive the company by suggesting that the initial delivery contained six chairs, based on their own photos. Yet, when we requested access to those photos for clarification, our reasonable request was unjustly denied.Let me make one thing unequivocally clear: I refuse to pay over $3,000 for such abysmal service. It is utterly preposterous that, despite meticulously recording our consultation records, your customer service team expects us to waste valuable time reiterating the same details repeatedly, as if our time is of no consequence. We have already endured a month of delays, and I will not tolerate any further procrastination. I demand the immediate delivery of the three missing chairs without any further delay or excuses.Your company's failure to uphold its end of the transaction and deliver the complete order in a timely manner is utterly unacceptable. I expect swift action to rectify this situation and restore my faith in your company's commitment to customer satisfaction. If my demands are not met promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter through legal channels and publicize my experience to warn others of your company's incompetence.I strongly urge you to prioritize this matter and resolve it to my full satisfaction without any further delay. Abusive store manager. Amazing how bad the reviews are for this store and nothing is done about it. Try and contact the bot style customer service replies on here and they do absolutely nothing. Avoid this store.**Edit** attempted to resolve with their customer team on email and they just decided not to reply to emails.

All of the poor reviews here reflect my experience also. Avoid purchasing here if at all possible.Bought a premium product here and organised a delivery date 2 weeks in advance. 3 days prior to delivery we received a message in the evening advising of delivery window, which I needed to confirm with work. I called as soon as business hours allowed and advised that I would be able to confirm soon. Less than 2 business hours later I was informed because I had not got back to them that delivery would be delayed by 7 days. This was in direct contradiction of what I’d been advised at time of purchase.Spent hours on the phone trying to resolve and was left on hold, hung up on, fobbed off and spoken to extremely rudely.Eventually had to process a refund as there was no help offered.Rick, the manager I spoke to in the store, seemed disinterested in helping and unconcerned about the appalling customer service. Seemed unconcerned that I was seeking a refund and offered nothing in order to attempt to keep the sale.Avoid and go somewhere that adheres to basic customer service principles.

I wish I had read these reviews prior to purchase. Store manager Rick firstly lied about stock being available only to be then told there was No stock. Finally goods delivered & 2 of the 3 are damaged. After sales is a joke, Rick promises to call back & never does. I’m about to take this matter further & request a refundYou are a joke Nick Scali!

Don’t be fooled by the excellent before sales service… welcoming smiles, friendly informative and very helpful staff in any of the Nick Scali stores. Honestly they are to be commended.The delivery drivers were super friendly, careful on time.Unfortunately that’s the end of the service.It’s a shame the after sales service let’s down the entire name and I truly wish I had read these reviews before we purchased.Of the 10 white chairs I ordered, 5 of them had yellow sticky stains on them, which appeared to be the stain colour of the timer legs and arms.The Tanami table had a big dent / gouge in the top.Brand new, just unwrapped by the drivers. Nick Scalia delivered damaged furniture. Customer Care is non existent.We can not get a resolution despite sending emails and providing photos as requested. Now I feel sick with anxiety as we spent a lot of money for damaged furniture.I am really really disappointed and would not recommend buying from Nick Scali, never will again which is unfortunate considering the great service the staff in the stores provide.

This in store sales team are ABSOLUTELY awesome! They know their stuff. Great product knowledge and kind service. Highly recommend seeing Fleur - truly awesome.ALTHOUGH in saying that - EVERY OTHER PROCESS with Nick Scali as a business is nothing short of Horrid!!The call centre staff aren't as knowledgeable, there is no direct phone line to the stores themselves, the messages left to be passed on to staff doesn't seem to get done.The business has new sales that even when your product hasn't begun being built, they will not honour price on. The communication between departments is near next to NON EXISTENT.I recommend if you can find a similar product through a different supplier and if you value YOUR OWN TIME, in place of having to chase unanswered questions and overworked staff (thats the only explanation I can fathom for the lack of follow through) go elsewhere.

I purchased 3 Henrik Electric Recliners. 3 broken batteries within a couple of months. Shocking service.Seems I need to pay $345 for each new replacement battery every year. Rip off. I’m going to Consumer Affairs. False advertising.

I would not recommend Nick Scali and would give 0 stars if I could.My partner and I purchased a floor stock couch and a coffee table at the fortune valley store. As per the sign, the sofa was to be delivered within the next 2-3 weeks. After discussing a delivery date at the two week mark, you can imagine our surprise when we called a few days before the scheduled delivery to be advised that BOTH items would not be delivered (despite paying separate delivery fees) as they had not found merchandise to replace the floor stock sofa and they had mistakenly put out a sign stating 2-3 weeks for delivery instead of 4-5 weeks. At the point of purchase, we were not notified that the delivery date was subject to change and received no communication from the store thereafter until we chased them up.After a few phone calls, Nick Scali store said they would actually be able to deliver the coffee table as planned but could not give a date for when the sofa could be delivered. It has been disappointing with the lack of transparency and communication demonstrated by such a well respected brand. I would not advise anyone to purchase their furniture here.The only saving grace was that the couch was delivered 1.5 weeks after the original scheduled date and was in good condition .
