Krav Maga Newcastle

My 12 yo has been training at Krav Maga for three years now and loves it. It has increased her confidence, fitness and awareness of how to not only defend herself but also how to try to avoid situations in the first place.

My son loves krav maga. The team are all very nice and welcoming. He keeps fit, learns self defence skills, and has fun. It's also great for his confidence.

I have attended both the womens self defence course and the adults beginners class and have had a fantastic time in both. The teachers make learning about self defence light hearted and fun, and the people you train with are positive and friendly. Classes are one hour and consist of warm up exercises and stretches, then being demonstrated and taught a new skill, then finishing with a drill that incorporates the new skill.

In April 2022 I relocated from Sydney (where I’d been attending Krav since late 2019) and really love what I’ve found in KMG Newcastle. The initial sadness of no longer attending SGS Krav Maga Hurstville has been supplanted with a great gym at Adamstown; great vibe with students encouraging and sharing knowledge. I love going as much as I can!! Every instructor offers a valuable and different perspective and the frequency of going of course helps cement the foundations and muscle memory! Special shout out to Rick who has a really unique, realism-focused perspective; which really enhances what Krav is all about - practical, realistic self defence you can use in real life situations. I’ll be sure to keep attending :-)

Our son has been going to Krav for 2 years now and his confidence and focus has skyrocketed. Adam and his team do a fantastic job of keeping the kid’s both mindful of their actions but focussed on their training. Each session finishes with a mindful moment reflecting on their Krav moves or sometimes what happened nice to them during the day. Can’t recommend Adam’s business enough to a parent who is looking to get focus and attention into their kids.

This is such an amazing Krav Maga school! We couldn't ask for better instructors and learning conditions. The people who train here are wonderful and friendly and welcome you with open arms, creating a safe and fun environment. We learn important skills to stay safe and train to increase fitness, all while creating great friends and becoming part of an awesome KMG community. I could not reccomend this place more, I hope to see you soon!

The Instructors are very knowledgeable & personable, demonstrating & explaining all moves thoroughly, before getting students to practice themselves & with others. Emphasis is placed on avoiding confrontation and only using appropriate force when necessary. A great way to stay fit and learn self defence.

A great school run by the Head Instructor of KMG Australia and New Zealand. Always a pleasure to visit here and train. The instructors in this school are top grade with a huge depth of knowledge. I highly recommend this school for anyone considering self defence for themselves or their loved ones.Kids self defence classes are also here and the kids seem to have an absolute blast

Awesome! One of the best choices I have made in my life! I have gotten ten times as fit. Done things I never thought possible and have peace of mind walking around the streets now! Whenever it gets hard you have friendly and professional staff to help or push you that bit further. Add that to an awesome bunch of people who are great to be around and make it less like a hard work session and more like a time hanging out with friends and it's even better when we have social events. All in all, excellent program and I would DEFINITELY recommend to all!! Try it! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Our journey with Krav Maga started 2 years ago with our two girls starting to train weekly with Adam. We wanted them to be strong, respectful, and resilient but also to learn the tools to keep themselves safe, avoid dangerous people and situations, and to defend themselves and others. They are learning all these things and are having a hell of a fun time in the process!Every instructor is very skilled, knowledgeable, caring and also brings their own humour to make it fun. I am so happy with Krav Maga that earlier this year I joined up myself and have become addicted! Fun, fitness and valuable self defense and life saving skills.... I encourage everyone to give it a go!Thank you Adam and all of your amazing instructors, I feel so welcome and supported like I’m part of a family, you guys rock!
