I've taken my (uncommon) Nissan Skyline 350GT to Jon since I bought it, for servicing, repairs and replacement of parts.He and the team are excellent at explaining what needs doing, why and what your options are. I'd happily recommend these guys no matter your make or model.

Booked in based on reviews here. John did a great job of assessing the car (confirmed by other mechanics) and told me that it would be $5000 to fix the issues. I called around to get second opinions. In the end, I paid $2520 for all the same repairs in Northcote. Roughly half his quoted price. I would understand if it were a few hundred more, given the central location of the shop in an expensive suburb, but twice the price is just incredible.

Jon & his mechanic are not only friendly and knowledgeable but went out of their way to ensure I understood both the issue and what was needed to fix my cars problem. The prices are very pocket friendly. Above & beyond service. Recommended!

Boy, the reviews don't lie hey! I came to see John due to his glowing google review. I'm but a mere student who can't afford to pay for things that aren't necessary. John was fantastic at giving me his honest opinion and keeping me informed throughout the day. He gave me an updated quote during every phone call and when I went to pick up the car it ended up being $60 cheaper! Talk about honesty. Thanks so much John for taking care of my car and providing me with your trusty expert advice. I won't be going anywhere else from now on!

Took my Focus XR5 for a scheduled service and everything about the experience was upfront and straightforward. You get exactly what your car needs and an honest appraisal of anything else that is recommended. If anyone is nervous about taking their car to a main dealer or an independent garage, Jon & Naylor Auto will put those fears to rest.

I found John when I was looking for an honest, reliable car repair mechanic. That was 25 years ago. John always explains things so that you learn about your vehicle he is very respectful and will call you should there be unexpected or major repairs before going ahead to get your thoughts on it. Ive moved all around Melbourne but I have never moved mechanics because of his professionalism.
