I have never given a supermarket a review before but I just had such a pleasant experience here.Super clean and nice. Staff were kind and helpful to me.I often witness mild chaos at self check outs but this was one was so quick, easy and pain free.

The quality of food has gone waaaaay down over the 4+ yrs I've been going to this store. There's absolutely no customer service, in the store or by phone. I've also talked with a number of employees over the past several years who hold or have held a variety of positions at a number of local Melbourne stores; they've all consistently explained they wished they would be treated like $h!t by their leadership because that would be better than how they currently/were treated.

Great choice of quality products, great prices, always leave with so much more than on my shopping list !!! My only gripe is the speed of checkout staff....and having to pack shopping myself to keep up :-(

Appreciate easy undercover parking and access to store. Has all I need from a local ALDI - good prices for staples.

Store has decent prices, been shopping here for a few years now some of the new folks don't have much training it seems, I don't always need a catalogue but I can't seem to get a receipt on one of my purchases. The staff moved to the next person and just mentioned we can't print another one, That was also in a very rude way!

Here are a couple of products that Aldi do way better than others. Most commercial icecream manufacturers, even luxury brands like Connosieur, add water to their products. This is never an ingredient of real or homemade icecream and which makes even more emulsifiers necessary. They also add lots of air which increases the volume ( yes that's part of the reason icecream is sold by volume not weight!) Ever let your icecream melt in the bowl and havewondered why there's so little liquid in the bottom of the bowl? It's because a significant portion of it was air.So i was particularly excited to find Kapiti icecream a nz favourite brand of mine on sale at Aldi. I checked the ingredient of theno added water! And the taste of the sticky date and spiced caramel variety i tried? Amazing (with real ginger and nutmeg). And when i melted it, the volume remained the same. And a quick price comparison. 1l Connosieur at Coles (full price):$12. 1l Kapiti at Aldi (full price) $7.69. I'm sold. Good on you Aldi, please don't stop selling kapiti, in fact increase the range: 2 is just not enough.Full disclosure: i have no commercial arrangement with Aldi or Kapiti and no one has requested this review from me. This Aldi is good size and good service as well.Nice and good location also sooo clean!Always come back here

Great store in general but last time I was there I had to listen to a staff member getting a talking-to by *I guess* the manager. It was so busy and this poor girl was being reprimanded in front of about 20 people… what a terrible management technique… not only is it not the way to motivate your staff effectively it’s totally inappropriate to be giving staff feedback in front of customers like that, let them get the job done for the customers first, (the feedback was about getting the shelves filled more quickly so it’s kinda counterproductive to be telling her off in the middle of it all) while it’s busy and pull them aside privately later… It was strange, uncomfortable, and also concerning as if this is what customers CAN hear I can only imagine the way they are treated without customers around? I hope I’m wrong about this.
