Sky Pods

Stupendous! One of the finest places these world travellers have ever stayed in. Serene, totally private, no disturbance but for the kangaroos bounding about. Come to recharge and appreciate. Max is a lovely host.

Wow! What an amazing place for my solo retreat. Prompt & clear communications from the moment I booked. I was greeted warmly by Maxwell with a detailed history and explanation of the property & Sky Pods. The Sky Pod was thoughtfully designed, modern and cosy with the fire. I was lucky enough to see a lightening show rolling in at dusk, while settling in for a special Birthday movie night - the projector setup was a treat! Woke up to an exquisite nature show of birds singing to a family of kangaroos grazing, and 2 koalas lounging in the tree next to the window - all viewed from the bed! Opened up the balcony and enjoyed coffee & breakfast in bed watching the wildlife. One of a kind experience - wish I'd stayed longer!

We had the pleasure to stay at the skypod. Everything you see in the picture is literally how it is in person but 100 times better!As soon as we arrived by the gates, we were greeted by Maxwell. Such a gentleman, Maxwell took the time to show us how everything works in the room and shared valuable insights of the attractions near by (there was a handy map too).Celebrating my birthday off the grid and was blessed with clear skies to star gaze on the verandah too.We look forward to return and staying here again. Fabulous glass cabins in the middle of sweeping vistas of ocean and national park. Total privacy. Wonderful 2 km walk to the deserted beach. Host Maxwell is energetic, welcoming and enthusiastic about the local environment and its history. The cabins are comfortable and snug with everything you need for a 2 night stay. We would highly recommend.

We loved our experience staying at sky pod! Nature, stars, animals… the pod was very well organised and contained everything we needed. For a pod, it didn’t feel small at all.

This place is incredible!Max is an lovely, knowledgeable host who greeted us at the gate and provided us with some knowledge of the local area.My partner and I stayed in Sky Pod 1, which has phenomenal views of the national park and ocean. The pod is fitted with all the amenities you need.We also got to see some kangaroos in the evening and the following morning grazing and resting near the pod as well, which was lovely!I definitely recommend visiting when you get the chance!

Absolutely Stunning!! We had the best time in this beautiful place, with views all around, just amazing. My personal little favourite thing was the adjustable bed, which made it so cosy to just stay snuggled in with a cup of coffee in the morning and enjoy the landscape all around. So close to nature yet total luxury!! I highly recommend :)

Spectacular! We had such a wonderful time here. Stunning views across the coastline. The pod was modern, clean and equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Highly recommend!

Sky Pods at Cape Otway is a magical destination that you must put on your list. We were greeted by Maxwell who is the most passionate and welcoming host. He explained how the pod works and details of the sustainable off grid accomodation. We were lucky to stay at Sky Pod 1 which has uninterrupted views of the coast. The view is absolutely stunning. Sitting on the balcony enjoying some drinks and snacks was a memory that will stay with us for a long time.For those who stay, other places that I’d recommend in the region are Otway Lighthouse, Schulz Organic Dairy (good food and great antipasto platter), Apostle Whey Cheese and Timboon Distillery for a booked whisky tour. But, keep heaps of time to sit, relax and soak up the sound of the birds, waves and kangaroos.
