Great to have a business like this in our town. I had a very old lockwood exterior front gate lock which finally gave up the ghost after about 20 years in the weather. Replacement price was about $300 . I searched high and low for a cheaper replacement but could find nothing. Last chance i took it to Fort Knox Locksmiths in Caloundra expecting to have to buy something new. What a surprise , the young man there , Jude was his name said he will see if he can fix it before replacement. Low and behold , same day , called me up with a $20 fixed lock. He got a part out of another old lock they had there. Thank you very much.

Just the best service, our business/home has just had Hik Vision Intercom installed. Shea & Reece were tidy, polite and professional, great workmanship from the 2 of them and went over with us how to use the system. We would highly recommend this great company.

Fort Knox installed both a comprehensive set of new locks and a new alarm system and intercom at my house. The locksmith Mark was professional and did a great job, and un-gummed a few sticking window and letterbox locks for me at minimal cost as well. The alarm system and intercom were installed by Shea and Jason - the initial quote was based on using existing wiring from an old system I had. As it turned out, the intercom proved to be problematic for them because of difficulties with the existing wiring in the house, although this wasn't clear at the time, and it couldn't be made to work on the initial installation day - no big deal for me. They came back again a few days later to get it working, bringing new hardware in case that was the issue. There was probably a case to charge me more given the issue was my existing wiring in my house and they spent time troubleshooting it, but they didn't, and stuck to the original quote - it was even a little cheaper as they didn't use a particular part they thought they might. I would never have known. That's the sort of high value on service and ethics that you want in a company installing security for you. Everything works fine. Great job, and they were all very nice guys. Highly recommended.

Our apartment complex recently experienced a broken latch to its refuse compound such that no one could enter or leave the compound. As the Body Corporate Secretary I contacted Fort Knox Locksmiths & Security who sent Horst Thiele to us. Horst was excellent. He arrived quickly; correctly identified the problem and fitted a new latch perfectly. Unsolicited,, he applied some rejuvenating spray to the gate itself which suddenly looked brand new again. He also created a bumper to prevent damage to the gate when caught by wind gusts. We were very happy with Fort Knox and especially with Horst.
