Quality Hotel Mildura Grand

We held an event at the Quality Hotel Mildura Grand recently and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the location and the staff. Everyone in the team that I spoke to either prior/lead up to the day or on the day were absolutely amazing. Can not stress enough how helpful and amazing Ceylan was with assisting with all aspects of the day, Kathy and her flexibility with our group booking and Sam on the day doing alot of the running around for us and looking after every request we had with such grace! Thank you Quality Hotel Mildura Grand for making our event a success from beginning to end. The team certainly kept my stress in check and delivered exactly what we required of the day!

Just left the Grand this morning. Room service was terrible. They didn’t wash the wine glasses we used. They didn’t put fresh milk or water in the fridge on day two.The Balcony was filthy, nothing wiped down. The light over the coffee making facilities didn’t work. No draws for your clothes, no phone. Only one king sized bed in the whole lace and it wasn’t in our room.WOULDN'T STAY THERE AGAIN

Given different room to the room with a courtyard balcony that we had booked.Toilet bubbling , overflowing and would not flush. Told hotel fully booked and no alternative room available. Would call maintenance re toilet. Several drinks and 2 hrs later returned to reception and maintenance had not been. Given keys to another room despite being told on arrival that hotel fully booked.Rooms are urgently in need of renovation. Housekeeping was okay, bed made and fresh towels and toiletries and milk and bottled water.The Grand ain't so grand anymore and it could be returned to its grandeur with a complete renovation. It has so much potential.Beautiful heritage building with so much historyThe proximity to restaurants etc is so convenient.

Great location but hotel is totally old rooms needs to be renovated but if you are looking cheap hotel for spending 1 2 nights and you don’t have any other place you can try this hotel

Great historic hotel that has recently been renovated. Lovely staff who were always smiling. Old world charm because of the lots of history in a 130 year old hotel but still very modern and comfortable

We stayed in the poolside suite, quite expensive n totally not worth the money...outside for was warped, bathroom door was obviously water damaged...it jammed on the floor so had to be pushed open.. hubby hit his hop on door handle in night, going to loo as forgot it jammed...patio stools were frayed, had holes in the seats, the matting walkways were slimy, mouldy, weeds growing thru..had to ask house keeping for another tumbler..only had one...n when complained about the problems, the manager made excuses n dismissed it all...never again

First up I am a sales rep who has to carry a lot of bags! I haven’t stayed here before and assumed it would be more a motel, ie park outside the room . I did ask for a ground floor room thinking this was the case. Parking is not even in the complex but in a lot opposite the hotel. For me it is beyond a pain. That said, if you have a small suitcase you are laughing! Having booked a ground room, very much regretting it - it’s like elephants going up and down stairs and then stomping on the floor when they get there! My room is very small to what I’m used to, having said that it seems very clean, bed comfortable and bottles of water a nice touch. The location couldn’t be more central - pretty much in town centre and by the river.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough to accommodate our requests. Rooms were lovely, airy and a little old worldly.

Beautiful old restored hotel right in the middle of Mildura. Doors to the rooms are not fire rated and lock on the door to the balcony was not working. Just had a small slide bolt and catch was bent and I had to get a screw driver from the car to bend back into shape. No chest of draws to put clothes in and had to leave in bag and needed a table.Pool was great but a bit busy in the middle of the day as temp reached 40deg c. Couldn't fault staff.
