Woolworths Weston Creek

One of the most poorly run Woolworths I have encountered. Nationally!Examples, to name just a few?- Produce, fruit and flowers are often off or dead within a day or so. Especially apples stone fruit and seafood.- Hot cross buns” in the bakery are frozen/partially thawed. Meats are often tough and low grade.- Self service terminals jam with false errors 2 or 3 times a shop.- Fake “specials” where “regular price” is artificially lifted so as to misrepresent the alleged discount.This store reeks of a business with a monopoly, where management patently doesn’t care and is taking unfair advantage of a largely elderly clientele who either don’t notice or are mobility restricted and left little choice.Woolworths Cooleman Court is an embarrassment to the brand. I go out if my way to shop elsewhere.I recommend Woolworths senior management, the Trade Practices Commission and ACT Health look seriously at this store. They’d each have a field day here. Well worth an inspection.

Good Woolworths, always have everything you need.

The place is always a mess with pallets, trolleys and boxes blocking aisle and walkways. Seems to be adopting al Aldi approach of leaving goods in their shipping cartons (but poorly done) and there's always rubbish everywhere.

We get home delivery and shop in store for small items we need they have great specials and the prices are reasonable except for meat which we get from local butcher bit dearer but better quality than woolies which is pretty ordinary but other stock is good staff are always really nice.

Parking can sometimes be congested. Centre staff seem to be on a power trip. Woolies is good, seafood section is small compared to others

Buy here all the time. It's a decent-sized Woolworths with everything you’d expect from a grocery store: food, vegies, fruit, snacks, meat, bakery, cleaning products etc.They are right next to a fresh fruit and vegetables store, a butcher and bakery. So if you're after alternatives they are literally next door to Woolworths.There is also an Aldi upstairs if you like to buy cheaper alternatives.There is plenty of parking around too and you don’t have to pay for the parking.

This is a tiny store for the amount of people that have to shop here. If you get here too late after the after work rush there is very little left of the meat section. Smaller selection on all items in this store and is very untidy and messy.I honestly reccomend going to woden as the store is bigger, cleaner and has more stock options.

Finished checking out from self-service counter and the staff doubted I paid for an item worth $12 and wanted to check my receipt. I gave him the receipt and he said I didn’t scan it. I was sure I scanned everything. Finally found there was an invisible ‘1’ in front of ‘2’ due to printing issue. The staff just let me go without any apologies. It was a weird and poor experience to me.

Produce was fresh and well presented. I enjoyed my experience selecting various fruits and vegetables. Other items I purchased were only basic items which were generally easy to find. Even found hair clips for my granddaughter. Gave the store a 3 star rating as the assistant at the self checkout called me rude for pointing out an item had been scanned twice. I was definitely not rude and was very polite. The only words to her were “excuse me” to get her attention and “it’s up there twice”.

Self serve checkout sucks more and more each time. Huge queue yesterday due to some type of system failure, store unable to open manual registers to deal with it. Today, stupid poorly implemented AI veg detection wasting time as usual.Head office needs a broom put through it.
