The Spare Room
Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at The Spare Room. I know the place gets busy but this morning was not as busy as I've seen it before, yet we waited 45mins for soggy hash browns, cold eggs and toast that could have cut glass! My wife had the Veggie breakfast which was absolutely terrible and not at all worth the money. So unfortunate as the staff are lovely and the venue is great. I want to say I'll give it another go but we probably won't.

Typical solid brunch place toward Grange. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and good food. The menu has generic brunch selections which were very tasty. Take away coffees are a little bit long to wait for however.

I ordered a great coffee and hot chocolate from the Adelaide farmers market today at 12pm. They were hot and tasty. Unfortunately though, the 5 staff buzzing around were more interested in eating and packing up than serving their only 4 customers during the 20 minutes we had to wait for our order.Had it been busy, I would have understood, but when it takes the better part of the last half hour of the market, with no acknowledgment or apology for the tardiness, it’s hard to remain positive about the experience.1 star for the great coffee, the other 2 stars I gave are because I don’t credit anybody that leaves only 1 star for a small business.

Awesome cafe on the corner serving great coffee and delicious cooked breakfasts.Ample room for parking and the staff are great too. Reasonably priced with plenty of newspapers to mull over with a coffee. One of my favourite stops for a quick breakfast.There’s kid sized pancakes and choc milk shakes for kids treats. Outside seating if you’re lucky too!

Disappointing. Won’t be back. Luke warm milky++ coffee in the wrong sized cup too large for the shots - despite ordering double shot & requesting smallest cup. Breakfast big brother bacon egg sandwich - mouth tearing generic toast with sweet pickled chutney & rubbery over cooked broken yolk eggs - mayb source a nice caramelized onion jam & put some effort into what u server up guys! Had to pay extra for some sides, with one waitress apologizing there was no mushrooms left & almost at same time some sad limp wet muchrooms were delivered in a little bowl. I’ll give 1 point as the bacon wasn’t greasy & was cooked nicely. If you’re looking for a tasty treat for brunch & have some benchmark in your love of food then don’t bother taping your $40 at this place.

Very disappointing, pop up stall at the Wayville Farmers market is terrible. Tried 4 times now, I won't be trying again. Should be really simple to get a sausage on a roll! Started with a brioche roll and you waited a long time. Last roll was not a brioche roll and was hard and inedible I threw it away. Staff can not multi task at all. Painful to watch.

Visited Thursday 25th MayBreakfast dine inTwo Bacon and Egg on Brioche buns with Chutney sauce and a regular cappuccinoDefinitely not a brioche bun that came with our orders, as it has sesame on top and it burnt around the bottom edges and hard on the top, edible but should be softer. The fillings (bacon, egg, chutney sauce) were good, cooked wellThe cappuccino was a bit milky and contains no strength in tasteIt was cold and rainy outside, but all the seating was occupied by one/two people on 2/4 seaters in the main room near the ordering area and the other room is cold as

I ordered the big stack of pancakes. Got three flat and chewy pancakes, a tablespoon of berries (still mostly frozen) , a drizzle of maple syrup and a spray of aerosols whipped cream. When I asked about the icecream it was advertised to come with I was told, with no apology, that there was none today.To say that my expectations were not met is an understatement. Bland, tasteless and certainly NOT a big stack. $15.90 down the drain.Service was slow and the cafe only had a couple of other tables occupied. Staff were disinterested and not friendly. They didn't have enough knives and didn't even bring one over to me with my 'meal'.My brunch companion was equally unimpressed with his bacon and egg breakfast. Rubbery eggs and one dismal shortcut piece of bacon.Over priced and under delivered.
