With the weather for the second half June being very wet our job took a lot longer than originally hoped but Rob and Casey wanted to do a first-class job on our 45 metre driveway and patiently waited until we had the right conditions. It was also challenging with lots of rock and a storm water drain laid down the middle. The result was worth the wait with some more level areas and lovely curves. We love the Gothic Blue that Rob recommended. A very professional quote gave us the assurance of the work being done, and it was far and away the most comprehensive quote we got.

Unreal service, had a disagreement with the owners of the job and when he came to speak to me I couldn’t be more impressed with how professional and calm he was with the whole situation.

Got to give credit where credit is due. Although we had to wait a few months due to the weather causing delays, we are pleased we did. Our exposed aggregate driveway is perfect and we couldn't be happier. As soon as they got on site it was evident they knew what they're doing, and Rob was great at explaining everything. If I could give 10 stars out of 5 stars, I would!From the beginning, Rob (AKA Mr Mason) was friendly, easy-going and explained the scope of the work and what was needed very clearly.When the team came to pour concrete over our new workshop space, they were all professional and diligent to get the job completed! Even helped me cut down some wooden palettes I had, with their tools.Because I was in a rush to get the final sealing done, these guys went above and beyond to fit me in to ensure I wouldn't be set back for other contractors.A special mention to Luci (AKA Mrs Mason) who made the entire process a breeze to work with on the admin side of things. Her efficiency and response-rate was out of this world!I highly recommend Mason Concreting to any concrete job needed, small or large! Very happy with the job and the team!

Rob replaced our driveway in St Ives which was cracked by a neighbour's tree and very old. We found Rob as a result of another driveway he had finished down the road (and having spoken to that neighbour, we were assured that he was very reliable). The driveway was a very steep one. I didn't shop around for quotes because I believe it's more important to get someone who will do the job well than to get someone who promises to be cheaper. The quote was very detailed and warned us of all the extra charges that could arise if things went wrong. None did but it was good to know in advance, just in case. His wife, Luci, does the admin work. She is very competent (organised all permits etc and sent me a fair and balanced contract) and responded to all my questions promptly. The job was done very professionally and on time. It took one day for the earthworks (big machinery!) and, after the formwork was installed, one day for the concrete to be poured. Lots of people, lots of machines and lots of know-how. Don't be fooled into thinking a driveway is a simple project! If you picked a contractor who didn't know what he was doing, you could have a real disaster. The end job looks fantastic. And just in case you think this is one of those fake reviews that the business owner wrote, let me tell you that when I first saw Rob with all his tattoos, I was very sceptical...! But our neighbour assured us he was a very decent man, and having met him (and his brother), I am glad we trusted her reference. Strongly recommend.

Mason Concreting have completed a number of driveways for us (we renovate houses). Always a pleasure working with Luci & Rob. Great communication and execution of work. Happy to recommend them.

Great work BUT then they had a dispute with the owners of the apartments here (not me) knocked on doors, harassing all tenants then barricades us into our driveway by blocking it off with their truck and standing outside. Would NOT listen to reason that all tenants were impacted, not just owners. Very unsavoury and unprofessional individuals.

Even though we were overseas during the process, the team kept us up to date, emailed through photographs, informed us of progress, managed issues professionally and did a great job.
