Penny's pottery classes are great and flexible in that there's no you must do it this way or its wrong. She teaches hand building and the wheel and also has special workshops for glass sometimes. It's always fun and the people in the class are so friendly and if you like dogs Sully's wandering around. It's best to do a wheel workshop first and then enter the term classes and usually in the term classes you have the option to either do a wheel option or hand building, I try do the wheel because I always forget how to do it all! It's very relaxing and therapeutic! If you prefer regiment and one set way of doing things this may not be for you, but I think it's a great class as it teaches you to adapt and accept what might go wrong or learn the ability to fix it and make it right!

My daughter has been doing pottery with penny for 4 years and loves it! It’s a relaxed creative space where they learn the skills but choosing their own projects. We will be here forever I suspect!

A very warm and encouraging environment to learn the craft of pottery. Small group sessions mean almost one-on-one attention at times. Wheel and hand building is taught and it's fun to bring home lots of lovely pieces that you have made on your own. I would highly recommend Penny's class if you're looking to begin or if you are an already experienced Potter.

I love this place. You have the freedom and materials to create whatever you like, yet Penny the owner is always on hand to give you advice and keep you from messing up things you while you learn. It’s a cozy, relaxed place and getting your hands into clay is the perfect way to wind down after work.

Love going to pottery class every week. Penny is a great teacher with an awesome sense of humour. I am so happy with all the pottery pieces I have created and I keep signing up to new terms as time just goes to fast!

Penny is lovey and professional. She has created a safe and comfortable space where students are free to be themselves and create art with no boundaries. The Help and support that Penny and other staff members provide has been crucial for my ability to push boundaries and create the art that I always wanted to create but didn’t have the knowledge and support to do so.

Penny’s studio is very welcoming and friendly. The classes are small enough you get to know everyone and have a good time. You’re free to follow your own creativity and make what you like with guidance and suggestions. There’s many choices of clay, glazes and materials. I would recommend art4all!
