Pink lakes intrigue many ppl, but I didn't think winter was the time for the algae to grow. Methinks other pink lakes I've been to are only pink in late summer, when the salinity is very high. Perhaps the lake has been dyed to keep ppl stopping or not .....

Great view.. But the toilets were a mess someone had done a number 2 on the floor.. Disappointing.. Probably one of those caravan pulling Gypsy's.. They are old and have no control..

Very Beautiful.If you are going past you will regret it if you don't stop.The Home Of the Famous Pink LakeYou will LOVE it.You can walk down to the Lake itself.And recommend taking off your shoes and walking in the Lake itself.It's only shallow so there is no concern.The only thing, Bring a Towel as after you walk in the Lake your feet will be covered in Salt.An Excellent place for a Photo.Highly Recommend. Pink Lake is lovely but the toilets let it down. Stinky long drops and no running water to wash your hands.

Really awesome pink lake in the middle of what seamed to be no where. If you get the chance stop and go for a walk on it. Pretty cool. Watch out for the huge ants on the path.

Good view of the lake and super easy to pull off the highway to stop.There is a table there so worth pulling off if you want a break and have packed lunch.Toilets seem like long drop so if you're not desperate maybe wait until the next town...

Make sure you stop here when travelling between Melbourne and Adelaide. A bare foot walk on the salt is a must. The colours are wonderful and the salt glitters in the sun.

Great area to stop for a rest public toilet beautiful Pink Lake to view off the main road ,safe stopping stretch stop,short easy walk to lake

Didn't know what to expect drive 4.5hours to see the lake and I was not disappointed!!! Didn't stay long it was a bit to hot (46°c). Toilets were clean and well maintained. Great experience walking on the salt feeling it crack under toe
