Great little museum, glad we stopped.Free tea/coffee/soft drink with ticket purchase and there were some beautiful quilting patterns to buy.Just watch your step, path is a little uneven

No longer the Roebourne Visitor Centre. It is opened only on specific days and generally 9-3. It depends on the season. Now (May 2021) it was open Thursday and Friday.

Buildings look interesting from the outside. Unfortunately, it is closed indefinitely despite big signs saying open to the public.

Roebourne Visitor Centre & Old Gaol Museum
Old Gaol Roebourne has been looked after and operated by a small by dedicated group of volunteers for over 30 years. At the moment all of our volunteers work full time. So we have had to make the difficult decision to only open on Saturdays from 9am till 3pm up till, and including, Saturday 18th September 2021. We know that this will be a disappointment and cause inconvenience for many people but thank you for understanding that sometimes life's other demands take priority.
