Definitely overpriced and quality I have no words to describe. $38 steak was meant to be rare came out well done and have had thicker sandwich steak and was grey in colour, some chips were hot some warm some soggy but that was probably from returning the well done steak and the rare put back on the same plate, for what I ordered how about cooking such a thin piece of sandwich steak in a hot fry pan such a disappointment also the get your wording right on your mushroom crostini the mushrooms are your average button type and definitely not field as stated wont be back here anytime soon. The owner asked me to ring back only for them to take my number and call never returned back

Stopped for a bite to eat at lunchtime. No booking...We were seated quickly, and the staff were on the ball. Fast, efficient, and friendly.The food and drinks were served quickly and they were deliscious. Prices were reasonable.

If you are wondering where all the good service staff have gone the answer is the Greenwood. Despite being very busy for Mothers day lunch we were always well looked after by the staff. The food was fast and very good. Could not have asked for more. The whole team should be proud, you smashed it.

I attended a gathering of family and friends after a funeral. The premises are lovely, the service from the staff is outstanding and the finger food is of an extremely high standard. The dining area was very full and the food on the tables looked excellent. I was very impressed. I would strongly recommend this venue for functions.

Just ordered two plates of chicken wings and couldn't believe they were so different. One plate came out all flats nice and evenly cooked and the other plate was whole wings well and truly over cooked and rubbery. No consistency across the meals

Rang to ask if we could grab a last minute meal. They let us know the kitchen was closing but they would serve us if we ordered as soon as we walked in.Wasn't expecting to get such lovely meals so well presented since the kitchen was closing but they didn't just throw food on the plate, it was as lovely as if we had ordered at 6pm.

Came for lunch and had the scotch fillet which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious and to top it off hand cut chips which I haven’t had in years and they were amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful atmosphere was nice on a rainy day. I go to quite a few alh venues and this one just made it to top of favourites ❤️

I’ve been a customer of the Greenwood for 20+ years. Over the last year I’ve noticed everything start going down hill.Service was always great but lately it’s been poor, the staff are fine there’s just not enough of them.The one constant has been the food, a great menu, reasonable price and great meals. Sadly the food quality too has dropped significantly.Today took the cake.We ordered steak for lunch, I refuse to pay $60 for a pub steak so I ordered the 300gm scotch fillet medium for $38.The bit of meat I got was not 300gm and probably not scotch fillet. It was full of gristle, burnt on the outside, rare in the middle and tough and chewy.My wife ordered porterhouse which was thin, full of gristle and overcooked.Two steaks for $70 that were inedible.I’ve kept going to the greenwood as I have enjoyed it for so long, but today was the last straw. I won’t be back.
