Charming , not trying to be Uber Trendy, just good service and food . Coffee is good if you like older fashion espresso kind , not a third wave by any means.

Blackbird Cafe was buzzing and there was no surprise why.The service is so efficient and the staff are very swift! Food and coffee quality are great, with plenty of seating inside and out to cater for as many people as possible.This seems to be the go to cafe in Mornington.Very dog friendly as well with a big parking lot behind the cafe.

We ate here two days in a row because the food, coffee and cakes were all generously made with love. We highly recommend this place to anyone passing by the area.

Blackbird Cafe.
This is our favourite Cafe in Victoria. We travel from Melbourne to Mornington on a regular basis just to have lunch here. The apple and rhubarb cake is my favourite food in all the world!! Sue the owner, and her team are amazing. Couldn’t recommend Blackbird more highly.

Such nice staff, AMAZING service. My little brother had a hot chocolate, with a marshmallow and cake slice (one item) and even though i didn’t order a hot chocolate, they gave me a cake slice and marshmallow. Food quality is Gordan Ramsey level. Highly recommend for families.BEST CAFE EVER.P.sThey even somehow accommodated my fussy grandparents.

Friendly and caring staff and service, excellent food, a great variety on the menu and the atmosphere is one of relaxed, comfortable and understated classy. Loved everything and will definitely go there again as it's not swamped with people walking past and no traffic noise from main st so you can hear each other talking.

Excellent service and very short waiting time for food. I enjoyed my lamb greatly. The chicken curry and quiche was okay but would prefer more flavour in the curry.

Blackbird Cafe is hands down the BEST. Whenever I have friends come and stay, I take them here.The staff are so friendly and always available to help out. Also family owed and ran.If your up for a good feed the Big Breakfast is the way to go. Everytime I go it's the same Amazing. Or if you just want a coffee or hot choc don't forget to get your hands on a home made muffin bakked in the Cafe, The Mixed Berry's is a 10/10
