Easy booking via Great Rounds. Course in good condition however , bunkers are bare and in poor condition. Greens quick and true, however ,very firm and difficult to hold" an approach shot on.We are experienced golfers and found the layout tricky

Been playing golf on this & the old course almost on 30 years.Thought the course looked tired & marginally rundown in what is a peak growing season for grass.Course disappointing.Staff in clubhouse obliging & polite.

Brought the family to enjoy the driving range. 3:50 we arrived. Your website and google maps says open until 5:30pm with 4:30pm being the last chance to buy balls. Pretty disappointed, seems like everyone got the memo except us. Car park completely empty. Please update you online trading hours…

Challenging course with great facilities

I and my son recently had the pleasure of visiting Gainsborough Greens golf club today and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The level of customer service provided by the staff was truly exceptional and made my day on the course all the more enjoyable.From the moment we arrived, we was greeted warmly by the friendly staff at the Pro shop. They were attentive, efficient, and ensured that the process was smooth and hassle-free.Throughout my time at the golf course, the staff members went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued as a guest. They were always available to assist with any inquiries, and their enthusiasm for the sport was contagious. It was evident that they genuinely cared about providing an exceptional experience for each golfer.Moreover, the facilities at Gainsborough Greens golf club today were impeccably maintained. The fairways were lush and well-manicured, and the greens were in pristine condition. The attention to detail demonstrated by the course maintenance team was evident throughout, and it greatly enhanced the quality of play.Overall, our experience at Gainsborough Greens golf club today was unforgettable, primarily due to the exceptional customer service provided by the staff. Course is in great condition, fairways and greens are nice.But ridiculously slow play on weekends, we played 18 holes from 2:45 at parkwood last week and got through nicelyBut had to pack it up and leave after only 11 holes after 4 and half hours today. Way to many people on the course and won’t be back here in a hurry

Don’t bother playing here on weekends as it’s way too busy.The first time I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt, but played here again on the weekend and yet again our round took over 5 hours!Understand that Saturday is a popular day but these guys are greedy and cram way too many people on compared to other courses.I’ll give an extra star as the course is actually a decent layout even though most bunkers are GUR.
