Dry Cleaning Institute of Australia Ltd

I have submitted a complaint for Maurice dry Cleaners and received no response from the Dry Cleaning Institute of Australia.When submitting a complaint there is no reference number of confirmation provided which makes it incredibly frustrating to assure you that you have been heard and action is being taken.

Do not waste your time with them

I support the sentiment of the previous reviewer. I emailed the institute last week about a $700 dry cleaning bill that resulted in damage to curtains over $1000, and that the dry cleaner, a major chain, has not responded to calls and emails, and still holding one set of curtains without returning them. No reply from the institute.

I had a problem with a dry cleaning service in the city, stained my dress and refused a full refund, also the owner was so aggressive and arrogant. I rang this institute for some advise and was instructed to send an email to someone in charge of complaints etc. The reply I received From him was shocking, absolutely no empathy and so arrogant with the attitude of „ Why are you complaining about such a small thing ?“ after that I have rang NSW Fair trading. They were so lovely, empathetic and helpful for my case. Such a difference!
