Swimart St Ives

Fantastic service, great prices.We have recently moved into a new place with an old pool that’s needed a bit of work to get up to scratch. Chris, Grahame and the rest of the guys have been a bunch of legends, putting up with my endless questions (that they have never heard a million times before) and helping to get everything spot on.I can’t recommend Swimart St Ives highly enough. Not enough people in business these days take the time to share knowledge - believe it or not, sometimes years of experience gives a better outcome than a 5 minute google search.

Very hit and miss. Mostly have gone to the shop for supplies and questions. Some of the staff are helpful and knowledgeable, others don't have a clue and/or are gruff and unhelpful. If you get the good help, as good and any pool store (granted that is not saying much), but if you get unlucky, you might as well walk out and go somewhere else. Why is it so hard to run a good pool store, I have tried them all over the years on the upper north shore, I stick with one until I get enough lame/bad service that I get feed up and switch, only to start the cycle again with another store.

Appalling CUSTOMER SERVICE, no keen to provide you with genuine , uninterested advice/service, you have to keep asking questions, (not being proactive) -I've got the impression that when you walk into t he business, --->THEY DOING you a favor (taking your business for granted), basically it's a privilege FOR YOU TO BE ALLOWED to enter/buy from their business.Definitely not going back to these people.Period.

My pool was saved my Stuart (again) yesterday. My chlorinator stopped working and the pool urgently needs some service. Stuart has helped me with all of the above with a great smile on his face. Such a delightful experience as always. Thanks

Wayne and I would just like to say thank you so much to Jason, Steven and his team for their unbelievably quick, professional and trustworthy service and repairs that they do on our pool.We recently had our pool pump die a week before Christmas and we are so grateful for Jason being able to organise a new pool pump and its installation and so promptly and always with such friendliness and care.Looking forward to our new pool shed and our continuing relationship with this fabulous neighbourhood pool shop.We would not trust anybody else to look after us as they have proven themselves time and time again to be reasonably priced and always go above and beyond our wildest expectations.Thank you again guys!

Stuart has looked after our pool for over 10 years now- he always goes above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble and the overall service is excellent. I would highly recommend Stu to anyone who wants a pristine pool year round.

Honest and always good advice. Last 3 free water checks I've taken there indicated perfect quality water and no recommendation to buy anything - have to trust that!

Particularly gruff and irritable workman. Left here without asking if anything else had to be done. When l phoned back to say the work was not completed, argued and charged me a second call out fee ( with $20 discount- big deal! ) to complete the job. No idea about customer satisfaction or pride in service.

i regret choosing swimart to install a chlorinator for my pool. they mistakely cut off my spa pipe and blame me to ask them to do it and charge me again. i might agreed to cut the heating oven and solar pipe for their job easier. they failed to tell me that it is spa pipe as well. their technician's attitude is bad as well. lesson learned and won't use them again.

Top guys and Excellent Customer ServiceWe recently moved to this area. I lost an o-ring while cleaning the Chemflo probe. I couldn't run the pool system without it. I called the WATERCO and was directed to their retail arm - SWIMART St Ives. I have never been to this shop before. When I called Chris answered my call, patiently listed to my issue. Straightaways he knew what was needed and said he doesn't have it stock and would call me back after checking with supplier WATERCO. Within few minutes he called me back to say ETA for spare part is couple of weeks and went the extra mile to help me by giving me the o-ring from his display unit so that I can get my pool sanitation running. His kind help saved my pool from getting green therefore saving lots money on chemicals. For any pool needs this will be the place I would go first and highly recommend to others!Please note no one asked me to put this review. For their great attitude and customer service I felt I should put this review so others can benefit from Chris and his team. Thanks again Chris.
