HA:VE Artisan Bakery

This has to be some of the best bread I have had. I bought a sourdough Vienna loaf, and it had the perfect crispy crust and soft fluffy insides.We also had the garlic and cheese twist, which was just as tasty!

Pies are delicious, especially the chicken pies. Vanilla slices are gorgeous. Coffee is great. Bread is great. Service all around is great. Everything is great.

The place looks really clean.Great coffee. The cheese and fetta danish was also really good. I got a small coffee and the cheese and fetta danish. Was 7.30 dollars in total.The jam bun was included free with the coffee.Would be great if you could add more variety. Maybe sausage pastries.

Horrible horrible pies. Tasteless gravy consists of 100% starch and salt only. Exceptionally low quality ingredients used throughout, flavourless starch impregnated fillings with slivers of mushroom slices so thin that will give any sashimi chef a run for their money. Minimum amount of low quality frozen vege suspended in the horrible blob, miniaturised re-engineered mystery meat that tastes like polystyrene masquerading as chicken pieces playing hide and seek behind reflux inducing blob of nothingness. The pie is so horribly made with low quality ingredients and even lower quality of care that I couldn't bring myself to go past half of it, I felt like it was like mixing a bag of starch in water and drinking it.Service was horrible too, unfriendly, rude and with the attitude as though they were doing us a big favour just by existing.These are not artisan pies, these are servo pies. Massive disappointment. Croydon deserves better. Go for Max Pies in Croydon Main Street instead, any time!

Very friendly and they have the best pies!! Also got coffee and hot chocolate which was amazing as well! Definitely recommend!!

This bakery has the most amazing coffee and food. Run by a lovely couple, who offer the best service with a smile. I highly recommend stopping by!

One of the owners Alexia makes a lot of take-away coffees every day. They are happy to accept customers' reusable cups. Alexia runs the ground coffee holder under the coffee machine's hot water before making my coffee. She makes a lovely almond milk coffee. I've only tried the scones and mini pies and both a great. Everything is very reasonably priced. They are next door to a major supermarket and pharmacy chain.

Date/time of visit: 21 June 2020, approx. 2pm (but this was a return visit, have been going here since opening).Lovely, modern bakery. Friendly staff. The takeaway, single pies are the best value for money in/near Croydon Main St. They are big, filled to the brim with delicious filling - the curry pies have excellent curry flavour. My partner enjoys the coffee and pizza rolls. Both of us can highly recommend this bakery.
