Port Albert Jetty
Port Albert jetty is a good place to fish but on days when the fishing is very good there will often be a lot of boat activity close to the jetty and some of these boaters seem to think that they have to come as close as possible to the jetty which can sometimes cause friction between the fishermen on the jetty and themselves as once I saw a boater get very angry that the people fishing on the jetty didn't pull their lines in fast enough consequently he got some fishing line stuck around the propeller on his boat only because he came in very close to the jetty (7-10 metres) I believe the minimum standoff distance is 40metres

Beautiful historic Port with surrounding cafes and accommodation.Just a great place for an outdoors holiday.

Lovely walks all around ,nice lawns , good for little ones to have a fish with parents, relaxed spot. Rv can park and stay think it's 72 has but check first.

Great little jetty. Friendly locals. Only problem is the boaters who come in too fast towards the jetty and way too close when they don't need to

Great Location, Calm, You will see dogs on walks. Pretty friendly environment.I would visit again to have the burger at jetty and dip my toes in water again.My friends loved it too.

When all the way there does fish & chips on the wharf and it was closed lucky there was another small fish and chip shop further down they are beautiful

Port Albert JettyVi-sited on 5 UN/1/2023The sea is calm, reflecting thebright sunlight. It is a rather pleasant spot for fishing. There are boats to take you away from the shore for pleasure ride.It is nice but not spectacular.

A beautiful Victorian port. Good fishing with boat hire. Port Albert is steeped in history.
