Always had great personable service from these guys. Pricing has always been competitive and faultless works carried out in timely manner. It’s no surprise we have used them for at least three of our cars now over a period of 15 years. At the risk of losing our place to other customers we cannot recommend them highly enough!

Easily one of the best mechanics in town. Great customer service, super quick and never feel like you are being taken for a ride or they are doing unnecessary work. We have taken both our cars in a couple of times now and can’t recommend them enough. Hard to find a mechanic like this.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. As a woman who doesn't have much knowledge about cars, I was intimidated about the process, but the team at Footscray Auto Care went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. They were extremely kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I could understand. The facility was also spotless and professional, which added to my overall positive experience. It is my first time to visit the Footscray Auto Care today.Pros:1. Quick service (dropped it off in the morning, and then picked it up before 2pm).2. Reasonable labour charge: Compared to Ford Service it is 20% cheaper.3. Good quality products for the maintenance and repair4. Qualified mechanics and their excellent work performanceCons:1. Customer service area: It is maybe temporally closed.2. Outdoor parking: It is raining, and the car gets wet.Regarding the maintenance service I have no complaints at all.Thank you.

Super friendly service that really looks out for you. Gave them a quick call when my car started acting funny while in the area and the team at Footscray Auto Care was nice enough to let me drop off my car with them despite them being fully booked out. The service was quick and easy and I was well informed throughout the whole process. Thanks a lot team, I appreciate it :)

They fit me in for a Roadworth Certificate inspection at the last minute, found a couple of minor things that were explained to and approved with me, ordered necessary parts and had the whole thing sorted in 2 business days.Very happy with the service and turnaround time.

YOU SHOULD NOT SEND A COMPLETED ROADWORTHY CERTIFICATE IF THE CAR IS NOT READY!!!This mechanic completed a Roadworthy Certificate for me. I was quoted $800 and a 2 day turnaround but it ended up costing $1800 and took 5 days.Normally I would have some leeway as this is not uncommon with a mechanic but this experience was particularly bad because they actually passed the car for a roadworthy certificate and emailed it to me when the car was not ready (this is probably illegal). Thus, I organised to sell my car but could not actually take it so I was now liable to a buyer and did not have an option to reject the further works quoted.The full price should have been quoted up front and I would have reconsidered selling the car but instead I had to cop this hefty price and barely breakeven on the sale of the car while also putting a buyer on hold for 3 days.
