Well Thumbed Books

A favourite bookshop. We visit here whenever we head to the south coast of NSW. Have a wide variety of books in good condition and at reasonable prices. We will return!

Beautifully presented, organised and well stocked second hand bookstore. Amazing selection and friendly staff! Awesome heritage building. Definitely recommend a stop in.

Bought six books for under $30. There was also some kind of public celebration occuring at the back of the store with a huge country spread of eats and tea/coffee. I was invited to join and grabbed two jam and cream topped scones. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, a true social hub.

The day I was there a most lovely lady was in charge. She was very happy to answer questions and knew the shops stock well enough to point me in the right direction for the one I wanted. I was impressed with the extensive childrens books section and will be stopping in again.

I have a fond memory of this bookshop from 4 years ago. Fabulous range of books. Lovely people. I do hope it has survived past January 2020.

Best bookshop EVER, super well organised and super friendly staff. Wanna drive all the way from QLD just to go back to this shop.

Today it seems like book shops are almost like a supermarket filled by row and rows of shelves filled with reprinted generic books going for 30-60$ each, you would be lucky to leave with 3 solid reads for under 100$... But I believe some book shops have a certain kind of magic to them and we'll thumbed books is definitely one. It's almost an adventure walking through the four filled rooms of books and I've never left without the feeling id only scratched the surface of its collection. The price is incredible with even first printings going for 20$ or less! I've left with books stacked high for an amazing deal and haven't broken the bank doing it. The ladies who run it are also incredible and very friendly. 10/10
