I give 3 stars for the fact they were the only company branch than had my spark plugs in stock, between Taree and Nambucca heads, I needed them ASAP as I had fouled the plugs after doing a piston crown carbon clean. Engine check light had come on due to a misfire. I had to drive from Kempsey NSW and was there half hour b4 they opened and had removed all plugs and coil packs in the parking lot. I had priced the same plugs on eBay, express posted for a total of $98 but didn’t want to wait, I am not a member of an auto club which had I been, I would have got a 20% discount. I’m an ex apprentice mechanic with 3 years practical experience, having assembled multiple engines including 4cylinder naturally aspirated, turbo’s and worked v8’s all with years of trouble free motoring, I have done all the 4 years theory work including a 6 month full time pre apprenticeship course. I confirmed to the assistant the cheaper prices I could access on eBay and humbly asked if he could help me out with a small discount as I had travelled so far. I was met with a solid no negotiation ‘policy’ and honestly, this was a very disappointing attitude. I went ahead and purchased the plug set as my car was already in a state of disassembly and the replacement plugs solved my misfire issue, how ever I was left disillusioned by the hard line attitude of the assistant as I’ve always been able to negotiate with every other auto parts supplier in the past. This issue alone will prevent me from ever patronising repco in the future and I realise this was just one location, however it has tainted my desire to consider repco as a viable, accommodating business or a future option for spare parts.

Al the staff there are very helpful and often will advise on the best value for money on the products they sell. Also great to get the NRMA discount as there are massive savings. Recommended for car needs.
