Great place to go riding camping or just a picnic and a swim in the lake . I love coming to this part of the hills

Great place for a swim when hot. There are several different areas and shelters can be booked. Lot of weed in the water further out. Gets pretty busy on nice days.

Website says 2:30pm close time and chips finish at 1:30pm. Went at 1pm and was told the fryer is off, then tried to go at 2pm and the cafe was closed. Very bad management - do not rely on the hours posted!

Most beautiful place I have visited here in Perth, amazing just no words. Beautiful place to visit during the days before Christmas and clean public toilets, showers, kitchen & kitchenware to use, they also have power boxes for each camping spot so each one has their own which is a big bonus. The lake is beautiful and the water is always warm all day and night long. A MUST on the list of places to visit . They also have a shop right before the lake with a lot of seating around the whole camp site , Kids playground makes all the merrier for families.

Reflections Coffee and Kiosk
Went to get some hot chips at 1pm. Their website said they were available until 1:30, however we were told the fryers were already off for cleaning. We left disappointed. Came back at 2 to get a coffee, and found they were closed! The opening hours said they're open until 2:30. Basically, don't bother going by any of their posted hours.

Our family had a lovely Mother’s Day lunch here - friendly helpful service, no problem accomodating coeliacs, able to sit outside overlooking the lake - what an amazing place this is. We walked through the bush path from Mt Helena High School to the lake and then around the lake - beautiful!

We got chips and the wait was over 20 minutes for a box of chips not even full. Not worth the $7. They were to salty so I threw them into the lake and proceeded to watch all the ducks die around them from salt overdose. Lake leschnualtia Is now a salt lake because of them

Great camping, picnic and swiming/boating stop.Cafe is in a great location and reasonably priced.Will go back with tent and kayaks when the weather improves.
