I managed to find the perfect mattress with ideal firmness well within my price range.All the mattresses are custom hand-made and they have a good range, not to mention very competitive prices compared to retail. Though he doesn't have as much range in terms of pillows and other bedding yet, Sasha is looking into expanding his offering in the future. Delivery and drop-off, as well as disposal of your old mattress for a fee is such a godsend! I had arranged for a swap" in the evening and didn't have to worry about missing work. This place doesn't stuff around! All the other reviews are spot on. You walk into the warehouse, there are heaps of options that Sasha explains to you succinctly and thoroughly, then he gives you the chance to try all the different combinations out for as long as you like! Bit of Blues music in the background is a great touch as well.One of the best retail experiences I've ever had. You really get to think about exactly what you want and try before you buy. My partner and I were running back and fourth feeling the differences between mattress', with nobody hassling us or making us feel pressured to buy.We have since recieved our mattress, which was another easy experience, and have slept 5 nights on it. After visiting two of the major bedding stores, we came across Mattress Island - chalk and cheese. Our experience confirmed the positive google reviews we had seen. Sasha is incredibly honest and informative. We chose to take up the loose mattress option which allowed us to try different configurations at home for two weeks. In fact we’ve chosen to continue with a loose mattress as it allows the option of changing the beds firmness at any time in the future. Cannot fault Sasha or Mattress Island on their product, pricing or service in any way.

Sasha from Mattress Island is the best salesperson I have ever dealt with. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and understanding. Although I had many questions to ask, he was very, very patient. I recently purchased a mattress from Mattress Island and can only reiterate the positive comments already made by previous reviewers. Everything on time and as expected, old mattress taken away and new one at home to our satisfaction. If I may make a request to Sasha, would it possible to add handles on the sides, so that it is easier to grasp and rotate the mattress on the bed as he suggested?

Mattress Island is the only place I buy mattresses from. They are made to order and are top quality. Don’t buy rolled-up mattresses in boxes from sleeping duck or koala or whatever. A truly good mattress CANNOT be rolled up! Go to mattress island and get educated about what a mattress can mean for your sleep quality and health, these guys are truly artisans.Please keep up the good work!

Recently upgraded to a king size mattress and cannot recommend Sasha and Mattress Island highly enough. After a great chat with Sasha we spent ages trying out all the mattresses on-site, before returning to try our pick (in loose format). Loved being able to do this and tweak it to suit. Sasha was very patient all through the process and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our purchase.
