Unfortunately the new owners are unable to maintain the high standard this business provided for many years.I have been a regular customer for several years and took and canvas and two Vietnamese originals to be framed as gifts for my daughter, on September 7th. I stressed the canvas was required by September16th for her birthday and was assured it would be completed by that date. I was at the store when it opened at 9.00 am on the 16th as I had sports finals for the day. I was stressed that the job was not ready but managed to make it back by the 2.00 pm closing.Whilst the canvas looked great the framing was poor. All corners had small chips from the white veneer paint and thus the corners did not have a clean, sharp, straight edge.When I expressed my unhappiness with the quality for $200 I was abused and told the grand finals must have been losses (not true I will cheering again next week) and I was taking it out on them. There was an offer to reframe the project but it would take another week. I asked if I could take the painting and return it on Monday so I would have a present to give me daughter. I was told to leave the shop with the framed canvas, given the other art works, I had left for framing, and told I would never be allowed back. I am a non aggressive 73 year old who very, very rarely complains. However, I knew this canvas was special for my daughter and having waited years to have it framed professionally would be extremely disappointed with the result.I have never, experienced an attack such as this. My granddaughter who was with was in a state of shock and we both left shaking, upset and had paid $200 for a poor framing job.There is no way I will ever return to The Frame Factory. Nor could I wish my experience on anyone.

I've been a customer here for years and in that time only ventured once to another framer due to circumstances out of our mutual control. Going elsewhere was an error I won't repeat. I have always found the service at 44 to be fantastic. They are really helpful and obliging and go out of their way to assist in any way they can. They've won my eternal loyalty.

Great service, quality and pricing. Took three antique maps here to get framed. They were so helpful, even though I was on a budget. The now framed maps look spectacular, they called to confirm adjustments, and they even got it done earlier than expected. Have already recommended them to friends and will be back in the future.

Love this place. Great art supplies and much cheaper than any art store in town.But as i KEEP TELLING THEM they need to advertise that they are an art store because no one seems to know :)

I have been dealing with John & Jenny at 44 Frame Factory for a number of years &, believe me, they come no better. Their professionalism & always ready help is beyond doubt, plus their pricing is so reasonable. I never doubt I'm getting the very best finished product. John with his assistants do the heavy work & Jenny is ever ready to help & advise re selection of frames & mounts - the perfect pair for the perfect job. Product OK, communication hopeless !Dropped off a university degree to be framed. They were very vaugue about how much it might cost.After 1 month had heard nothing, rung them up, they said the hadn't been able to find a frame to match the original request (why didnt they ring to discuss?). So we said OK go ahead and just do a basic black frame.Another couple of weeks later, still haven't heard anything. Ring up again, oh sorry we couldn't find a frame to match your original request". We said we already discussed this and we just want black now. (Why have you forgotten this
